Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Getting to know sled dogs and traveling by dog sled

    Meeting in Petrozavodsk or at the airport.

    Transfer to the Polar Explorer's House (30 km).

    Breakfast in Karelian style.

    Briefing, acquaintance with the instructor, information on the completion of the program.

    Safety instructions, equipment selection. 

    Getting to know sled dogs. 

    Collecting a team. 

    Training in team management. 

    A dog sledding trip through the Karelian forest to the forest lake. 

    A snack by the campfire at a rest stop while traveling along the route. 

    Return to the Polar Explorer's House. 

    Summing up the results of the day. 

    Dinner by the fireplace — Karelian cuisine and tasting of Karelian tinctures on northern herbs and berries. 

    Watching films about the Arctic From the tapes of the international Arctic film festival "Arctic Open". 

    A wood-burning sauna.

The tour includes accommodation in the Husky Moa eco-complex (Polar Explorer's House).

The cost of the tour for 1 person:

  • adults — 32,900 rubles.;
  • children aged 8-12 21,700 rubles;

The supplement to the program for traveling by one person in a sled / snowmobile is 5,000 rubles / day.

If there are more than 4 participants, the tour is carried out on request.

Guest House Polar Explorer's House

The house has 6 rooms: double, quadruple, the rest are triple, two bathrooms and a shower cabin. Usually, guests who do not cook themselves, but prefer to eat from the kitchen, move in here. The administration of the tourist complex and the cabin company are located here - a cozy fireplace room with a large TV and Wi-Fi.

Husky Moa Eco-tourism complex

Husky Moara tourist eco-complex is located in the village. Sailors, 30 km from Petrozavodsk. This is a picturesque place just 200 m from one of the most picturesque and popular rapids for rafting the Bolshaya Tolly rapids on the Shuya River. On the territory of the eco-complex there is a stable, a kennel for northern sled dogs (70 individuals), a pine forest, a park area, guest houses and a sauna complex. All the dogs of the kennel located on the territory of the tourist complex participate in famous international expeditions in the Arctic.

The Husky House has 5 rooms, for a total of 14 people. The house has a well-equipped toilet with hot water, a shower and a kitchen, there is a TV and Wi-Fi.
