Over the course of three eventful days, you will get to know charming expedition dogs, learn how to manage a team, and learn basic cajun skills. We will walk through the picturesque forests of Karelia, enjoying its unique nature and silence.

On this tour, you can enjoy an outdoor picnic, visit one of the ancient Karelian villages and visit the Polar Explorer's House.

Accompanied by a professional instructor, you will embark on a journey through the wild forests of Karelia on one of the sleds.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Petrozavodsk. Trekking with dogs. Educational dog riding on the track
The program starts at approximately 08:00.
Meeting in Petrozavodsk or at the airport.
If you arrive later than the start of the main group, then join yourself at the moment where the group is located in Petrozavodsk. If the group is already in the eco-complex at the time of arrival, it is possible to arrange a transfer for an additional fee (reservation in advance).
Transfer to the Polar Explorer's House (30 km).
Breakfast.
Briefing, acquaintance with the instructor, information on the program, safety instructions, selection of equipment.
Excursion to the kennel of northern sled dogs (3 breeds, 70 pets).
Training in the care and management of dog sleds.
Trekking with dogs.
A picnic is a hot lunch over a campfire.
Educational dog riding on the track (radial trips).
Hot dinner at the Polar Explorer's House.
Summing up the results of the day.

Day 2 - A trip to one of the old Karelian villages
Breakfast at the Polar Explorer's House.
Briefing of the day.
Preparation for a dog sledding trip (personal equipment, team gathering).
Travel along the route for the whole day.
The organizers reserve the right to make radial trips due to weather conditions and the condition of the route (river crossings and unstable ice on lakes).
The exact route will be announced at the briefing.
The planned route is to the town of Yumanishki or Pryazhinskoe lake.
Camping, cooking over a campfire.
Lunch with "smoke".
Picnic in the forest.
Accommodation in a guest house.
Summing up the results of the day.
Dinner and tasting of Karelian tinctures.

Transfer to Petrozavodsk.
The tour ends at approximately 18:00-19:00. We recommend taking tickets for evening flights.
