Itinerary

Day 1 - Kizhi Island Reserve
After meeting at the Petrozavodsk train station, you will be taken for breakfast and you will walk along the embankment of Lake Onega.
It is famous for unusual art objects, as well as sculptures and monuments donated to Petrozavodsk by the twin cities.
Transfer to Kizhi Island.
You will take a high-speed boat to Kizhi Island (1 hour and 15 minutes on the way).
First, you will be given an individual sightseeing tour of the central part of the island.
You will visit the recently restored churches and the bell tower of the Kizhi churchyard — monuments of wooden architecture of the XVIII—XIX centuries.
Next, you will find an extended program "Hidden Kizhi — far corners and the best views", during which you will walk through the most picturesque places and island villages.
You will see historical and cultural objects brought from various parts of the Zaonezhye region: residential buildings and outbuildings from Karelian, Russian and Vepsian villages, ancient chapels and household items.
You will have lunch at a cafe on the island, and then go back to Petrozavodsk by boat.
Minibuses will already be waiting for you at the city pier, where you will move to the Northern Ladoga region (3-3.5 hours on the way).
This is one of the most picturesque areas of Karelia. The famous Ladoga skerries are located in this part.
Arrival at glamping.
In the evening, you will arrive at the Sortavala city pier, from where you will go by motor boat or boat to Havus Island, located in the very center of the Ladoga skerries (15-20 minutes on the way).
You will find accommodation in cozy domed tents surrounded by a pine forest and a welcome dinner with dishes of Karelian cuisine.

Day 2 - Valaam Archipelago
In the morning, a Karelian-style breakfast will be served for you.
Excursion to Valaam.
You will go on a private excursion to Valaam.
Together with the guide, you will visit the central manor of the monastery and the Transfiguration Cathedral, and then have lunch in the refectory of the monastery (lenten fish menu) and listen to a concert of church music.
You will get acquainted with the ancient hermitages of the Valaam archipelago.
First, you will go to the Resurrection Hermitage, which is also called the "New Jerusalem". It is believed that this is where the history of Orthodox Karelia began.
You will visit St. Nicholas Skete, which is located on Krestovy Island at the entrance to the Monastery Bay and is one of the most beautiful in Valaam.
Along the way, you will discover picturesque views of the bays and inland lakes of the archipelago.
You will return to glamping by boat, where a hot dinner from the chef will be waiting for you.
If desired, and for an additional fee, you can relax in the furako bathhouse on the shore of Lake Ladoga or book a session in the Russian bathhouse.

Day 3 - Ladoga Skerries and the Ruskeala Mountain Park
In the morning, breakfast will be organized for you at the glamping.
The route on motor boats along the Ladoga skerries.
You will go on a circular route by motorboat or boat along the Ladoga skerries (depending on the weather and wind). The duration of the boat trip will be about 3-3.5 hours.
Ladoga Skerries is a picturesque archipelago in the north of Lake Ladoga, consisting of many small rocky islands.
One of the striking features of the Ladoga skerries is the so—called "reef mountains".
Reef mountains are called mountains that break off into the lake with steep cliffs, the height of which can reach 80 meters.
You will climb the observation points of the Ladoga skerries: Mount Aino and/or Mount Vakhtimyaki (depending on weather conditions).
From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the vast expanses of Ladoga and the beauty of the skerry straits and islands.
For lunch, you will return to glamping, and then continue the excursion program and move by motor boats to the pier, from where minibuses will pick you up to the Ruskeala Mountain Park (30-40 minutes on the way).
Ruskeala marble quarry is a monument of cultural heritage of Russia. Development began here in 1765.
The walls of the famous St. Isaac's Cathedral, Ladozhskaya and Primorskaya metro stations in St. Petersburg are decorated with Ruskeal marble.
The quarry is a huge system of underground tunnels and tunnels connected by vertical shafts.
Most of them were flooded after the Great Patriotic War, and the quarry turned into an amazingly beautiful lake with a turquoise shade of water, the transparency of which reaches 15-18 meters.
After the tour in the mountain park, you will be taken to Sortavala.
Before the evening train to Moscow, you will have free time to walk around the historical center and have dinner at the restaurant (extra charge).

The tour includes accommodation in the Lago Ladoga dome glamping. It is located in the most picturesque place of the Ladoga skerries — on the island of Havus, surrounded by a pine forest.

The surcharge for single accommodation in a tent is 15,000 rubles/person.

For children under 12 years old, as well as for the third person in the tent, when placing in an additional sleeping place upstairs, we provide a 10% discount. Discounts are not cumulative.
