Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Sortavala. Transfer to the island

    Arrival in Sortavala at 08:22 by train 160A Moscow — Petrozavodsk. Meeting at the train station.

    After meeting at the train station, you will have breakfast in a cafe and go on a sightseeing tour of Sortavala

    During a walking tour of the historical center, you will get acquainted with the unusual buildings and picturesque nature, learn about the fate of the city: from its foundation to modern life. 

    You will climb to the observation deck on Mount Kuhavuori, and also visit the museum of Kronid Gogolev, an outstanding artist who worked in a unique technique of sculptural relief.

    After that, you will head to the Sortavala marina, from where you will take airboats to the island located in the very center of the Ladoga skerries (30 minutes on the way). 

    After a welcome lunch from the chef, the guide will tell an interesting lecture about the history of Karelia: from petroglyphs to stone giants. 

    Rest in the domes. 

    In the evening, you will have dinner with dishes of Karelian cuisine. After it, you can play board games by the fireplace or relax in the Russian bath or furako bath (upon reservation for an additional fee).

    You will spend the night in cozy hemispherical tents surrounded by a pine forest.

The tour includes accommodation in the Lago Ladoga dome glamping. It is located in the most picturesque place of the Ladoga skerries — on the island of Havus, surrounded by a pine forest.

The cost of the tour for 1 person with double occupancy is 52,500 rubles.

Single accommodation in the dome is possible for an additional fee of 25,000 rubles.

Discount for children from 7 to 12 years old, as well as for a third person in an additional seat – 10%.

Lago Ladoga Dome glamping 2 nights

You will live in the dome glamping, an autonomous forest hotel with a high level of comfort right on the shore of Lake Ladoga. Glamping is located on Havus Island, surrounded by a picturesque pine forest and Ladoga skerries.

There are located on the territory of the glamping:

  • The panoramic dome is a restaurant where breakfast and dinner will be served for you every day. Inside the tent there is a dining and tea area (hot and cold water, tea, coffee, sweets are always freely available), as well as a relaxation area with a fireplace and board games;
  • A small lounge area is a place where you can play board games, watch a movie or just sit with a book while drinking tea with sweets;
  • 13 cozy geo-domes, with a capacity of 1-3 adults or 1-4 people with children. Each of them has transformer beds — two comfortable lower beds (800x2000) or a double bed (1400x2000) and an extra bed upstairs with bed linen and towels, bedside tables, a coffee table with armchairs, a wardrobe, as well as sockets, a washbasin with room temperature water and a toilet;
  • showers in a separate building, with heating, hot water, hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel;
  • Furako bathhouse on the shore of Lake Ladoga — heated outdoor wooden font;
  • Russian sauna with panoramic window on Ladoga.
