Day 1 - Petrozavodsk city tour. The village of Rubchoila. Master class

Departure for a sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk.
During the city tour of Petrozavodsk, you will learn the history of the streets, buildings, squares and parks of the city, and get acquainted with more than three hundred years of the city's history.
Here, by decree of Peter the Great, the first weapons factories were built, and the descendants of Ilmarinen the blacksmith, the creator of the miracle mill "Sampo", forged the glory of the Russian army and navy, casting the best guns, anchors, squeakers, guns, swords, pistols.
You will see the famous architectural ensemble of the Round Square, visit the Governor's Garden, Cathedral Square and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
Take a walk along the famous embankment of Lake Onega, a favorite place for recreation and walks for citizens and guests of the city, located on the shores of the most beautiful Lake Onega. Paved with red granite and illuminated by lanterns, it gives the impression of an ancient street.
There is a unique open-air museum on the Onega Embankment. Amazing sculptures — gifts from different cities and countries — that form a unique alley of fantastic images. Some of them are quite mysterious, and it's impossible to immediately guess what they represent.
Next, we will go to the ethnic village of Rubchoila.
Rubchoila (sometimes called Rubchoila) is located in the Pryazhinsky National District. Karelians have been settling in these places for centuries. Their descendants live here to this day.
According to legend, the village was founded by three brothers who came here from the north in search of a better life.
Three centuries ago, Rubchoila was a small village of 7 houses, but its population was prosperous. According to statistics, cattle were kept twice as much as in the surrounding villages.
The villagers lived very richly, there was even their own tannery, and the chrome boots of the Rubchoil craftsmen were valued far beyond these places.

Day 2 - Rafting on the Shuya River
Breakfast.
Departure for a one-day rafting trip on the Shuya River. Enjoy the powerful current of the river and feel the real drive!
Rafting in Karelia is about romance, great company and wonderful exercise for body and spirit!
On the tour, you will be able to experience the full force and power of the Shuya River waters.
Rafting will give you a lot of emotions: from adrenaline to peace.
Rafting takes place on the most interesting sections of the Shuya River.
Participants will be given life jackets and helmets. On the route, participants will receive safety instructions and learn how to maneuver.
Arrival at the beginning of the rafting trip is the threshold of Yumanishka.
Division into crews, equipment, safety instructions.
Shuya is waiting for our adventures: M. Yumanishki — por. The curve is a pore. Big Tolly (2-3 k. s.) — Rides on the threshold of a Big Tolly.
Continuation of the rafting: por. Small Size. Soivash is a cozy harbor camping camp.

Day 3 - Ruskeala Mountain Park. Tokhmin waterfalls
Early breakfast.

Departure for an excursion program to Ruskeala Mountain Park.
Welcome to the Northern Ladoga region, a natural and historical region.
Ruskeala Mountain Park is a complex monument to the nature and history of mining in Russia and Finland, a tourist attraction located in South Karelia.
The jewel of the Mountain Park is the famous Marble Canyon.
A huge bowl, carved by human hands into an array of marble formations, is half filled with the purest emerald-colored water. It is framed by gentle and steep cliffs rising up to 25 m above the surface of the lake. In summer, the crystal clear lake is surrounded by greenery of firs and pines.
On the way back, we will stop at Tokhminsky waterfalls and take a lot of beautiful photos!
Return to Petrozavodsk, dinner at a national cuisine restaurant for an additional fee. Departure home from the railway station of Sortavala by evening train is possible.

The cost of the tour for 1 person:

for double occupancy — 40,400 rubles/person.;
for single occupancy — 49,000 rubles/person.;
children under 12 years old inclusive in the main place — 37,000 rubles /person.;

Upon arrival, a deposit of 1,500 rubles per room is charged, which is refunded upon check-out.
