After meeting at the Petrozavodsk train station, you will travel to Sortavala in expedition cars, visiting iconic natural and historical sites along the way. There will be a special off-road stage, which, if desired, you can pass behind the wheel of a jeep.
Breakfast is not provided, there will be a snack. We recommend having breakfast on the train.
The ancient village of Kinerma.
The first stop on the route will be the ancient Karelian village of Kinerma. Here you will have a guided tour and lunch with dishes of national cuisine in an ancient house museum.
Kinerma is a monument of folk wooden architecture of the southern Karelians and is part of the Association of the most beautiful villages in Russia.
You will stroll through the quiet village streets among the ancient Karelian houses, visit the chapel of Our Lady of Smolensk and get acquainted with peasant life.
Waterfall "White bridges".
You will go to the next attraction — the picturesque waterfall "White Bridges" (Yukankoski) on the Kulismajoki River.
This is the highest waterfall in the south of Karelia (height — 19 m). The road to the waterfall will pass through the Karelian taiga.
In the evening you will arrive at the pier, from where you will go by motor boats to Havus Island, located in the very center of the Ladoga skerries (15-20 minutes on the way).
Arrival at glamping.
You will stay in the geo-domes and have dinner with Karelian cuisine.
You will spend the night in cozy hemispherical tents surrounded by a pine forest.
