Bayun the cat and his brownie assistants will show the house where the Snow Maiden and her fairy—tale friends live, tell about miracles, Berendeyev legends and traditions.

You will see a puppet tale about the Snow Maiden and, most importantly, get to know the Snow Maiden herself, and touch the ancient tale of the Snow Maiden with your soul.

11:00-13:00 Sightseeing tour of New Year Kostroma.

The main square of the city is the "heart" of Kostroma, its calling card is the Susaninskaya Square (popularly called the "frying pan").

Around the perimeter of the square are the most elegant and representative buildings of the late 19th century classicism era: the Borshchov house, the provincial offices, the guardhouse, the fire tower — the best fire tower in the Russian province is in the northern part of the square, and on the opposite side, on the site of the old auction, there are about 15 stone rows.

The largest are the Red Rows with the Church of the Savior and the Large Flour Rows built into them, and for the first time, a century later, the revived golden dome of the bell tower of the Assumption Cathedral of the former Kostroma Kremlin rises.

The architectural, ethnographic and Landscape Museum-Reserve outside the walls of the Ipatievsky Monastery is one of the most popular and vibrant places in the Golden Ring of Russia, an open-air museum of wooden architecture.

Kostroma Sloboda is a one—street village on the banks of the Igumenka River with peasant huts of various incomes, barns, stilt baths and churches of the early 18th century.

The museum is unusual: it is home not only to authentic monuments, but also to the protected nature of the Kostroma region.

In her room, the Snow Maiden treats everyone to tea with gingerbread.

An extensive exposition on the world history of cheese making is presented in the ancient merchant's mansion of the end of the XVIII century (Reschikov house).
