Departure to Myshkin.

Myshkin is a kind of museum city of the Russian province, which has preserved the ancient buildings of the merchant city and a special provincial way of life. The city was famous for its blacksmiths and potters. People on the site of modern Myshkin lived back in the V-III millennia BC. The town existed here, apparently, in the XII-XIII centuries, but was completely destroyed by the Tatar-Mongols in 1238.

The Uglich Kremlin is the historical and urban–planning core of the city. The chambers of Tsarevich Dimitri ("chambers of the Uglich appanage princes") are the only building preserved from the foundation of the Kremlin (a building of the 15th century).

The Church of Dmitry on Blood was built on the site of the death of Tsarevich Dmitry. Inside are paintings by artists of the late 18th century detailing this event.

The Transfiguration Cathedral (interior) is the cathedral of the city of Uglich, located in the center of the Kremlin.

The Assumption "Wondrous" Church of the Alekseevsky Monastery – the miraculous icon of the Mother of God is kept here.

The main cathedral of the monastery – the Transfiguration of the Savior (XVI century) has preserved the original paintings, it is the oldest extant temple in Yaroslavl. At the end of the XVIII century, a handwritten list of the masterpiece of ancient Russian literature "The Word about Igor's Regiment" was discovered here.

The Church of Elijah the Prophet (exterior) is an outstanding architectural monument of the Yaroslavl school of architecture of the XVII century; the house church of the famous Yaroslavl merchants the Skripin brothers.

Kostroma is the cradle of the Romanov dynasty. It was in the Ipatievsky Monastery of Kostroma that Mikhail Fedorovich Romanov hid from Godunov's disgrace. Ipatievsky Monastery is the main symbol of Kostroma.

Inspection of the territory of the recreated Kostroma Kremlin, where the miraculous icon of the Fedorovskaya Mother of God is kept in the Epiphany Cathedral. It was written around 1239 and glorified by great miracles and healings. This is the most ancient work of iconography in Kostroma. The icon has long been revered as the defender of the city and the guardian of the Romanov family.

The Museum of "Jewelry Art".

Kostroma is called the "jewelry capital of Russia" – more than a third of all gold and silver products produced in the country are made here.
