Itinerary

Day 1 - Walking tour to VDNKH. The Museum of Cosmonautics
You arrive at the hotel on your own.
A shuttle service to the hotel is available at an additional cost and must be booked in advance.
Guaranteed accommodation at the hotel after 14.00. You can leave your belongings in the luggage room of the hotel.
10:00 Meeting with the guide at the main entrance to the VDNH Park.
Walking tour to VDNKH, visit to the Cosmonautics Museum.
The Museum of Cosmonautics is one of the largest scientific and technical museums in the world. The history of the museum began in the second half of the 20th century, when in 1964 a monument to the "Conquerors of Space" appeared on the map of Moscow.
You will learn a lot about the history of Soviet and Russian cosmonautics, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky's projects to realize the dream of mankind about space flights, about the formation of the space industry in the USSR and much more.
The place of completion of the program: VDNH.

Day 2 - Sergiev Posad
Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure for the excursion program to Sergiev Posad from the hotel by bus at 8:45.
Excursion to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.
The Trinity-Sergius Lavra is a pearl of Orthodox shrines in Russia with a centuries–old history. The architectural ensemble of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra is under UNESCO protection.
Trinity Cathedral (interior) is the main cathedral church and the oldest surviving structure of the Trinity Monastery, the first stone building of the Lavra. The main shrine of the cathedral is the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
The Assumption Cathedral (interior) is the architectural center of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. It is inferior in seniority to the famous Trinity Cathedral, but nevertheless, with its location and strict majesty, it heads the Lavra group of buildings.
13:00 Lunch at a cafe in the city.
14:00 Departure to Moscow.

Day 3 - Moscow is diverse. City sightseeing tour

You will drive along the famous embankments and streets of the historical city: Boulevard and Garden Ring, Kutuzovsky Prospekt; you will see the Bolshoi Theater and the Manege, Stalin's skyscrapers, the Triumphal Arch, the golden domes of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the swan pond near the walls of the Novodevichy Monastery, Vorobyovy Gory, the Moscow State University building, the Luzhniki Stadium, modern skyscrapers of Moscow City and much more.
At the end of the sightseeing tour, you will walk along the famous paving stones of Red Square, see the multicolored domes of St. Basil's Cathedral, and enjoy the splendor of the panorama of the ancient Kremlin from the Sofia embankment of the Moskva River.
Visiting the territory of the Moscow Kremlin (self-guided sightseeing). The entrance ticket gives you the opportunity to see Cathedral Square, the architectural ensemble of the Middle Ages: churches, the bell tower of Ivan the Great and outstanding works of Russian foundry art — Tsar Cannon and Tsar Bell, as well as the unique interiors of the Assumption, Arkhangelsk, Annunciation cathedrals.

Day 4 - Kuskovo Manor. Departure

Kuskovo Manor is one of the most beautiful palace and park ensembles in Russia! Kuskovo is the estate of the Counts Sheremetevs in the east of modern Moscow, which has remained virtually unchanged since the second half of the XVIII century. On the territory of the ensemble there is a palace, a church, a Dutch house, an Italian house, the Hermitage pavilion and the Grotto pavilion.
You will have a great opportunity to plunge into the decorations and luxury of the late 18th century, enjoy the works of Russian and Western European fine art and imagine yourself in the center of magnificent receptions! To date, Kuskovo Manor is one of the world's largest owners of a collection of ceramics and glass from various countries from antiquity to the present. The unique architecture and exquisite decoration will not leave anyone indifferent!

I had no idea what to expect from this tour. I came across a website online and decided to fill out the booking form, though I was quite nervous about whether it was trustworthy.
