The group is formed on the Volga River embankment near the ship. Guests will find out why this embankment used to be called Pushkin Boulevard, and the church standing on the shore was named the Holy Martyrs Flora and Lavra.

The path continues past the Azimut Hotel, the House of Artists, where guests will hear a story about Uglich artists, their skills, and friendship with the German twin city of Idstein. We cross the Selivanovsky creek, which divides the embankment into two parts and get to the Rybakov embankment, which is now called Krasnoarmeysky Boulevard. The building of the military enlistment office previously housed a linen factory – one of the largest industrial enterprises in Uglich. Tourists will hear a story about the owners of the factory and their occupation. Moving along the embankment, we talk about modern production in Uglich – cheese and watch factories. Here, on the embankment, a beautiful view of the Volga opens up. Guests will learn about the Suponevsky Palace and its secret, and what a trace the construction of the hydroelectric power station on the Volga left.

On the way back, we inspect (if possible, visit, the temple may be closed) the temple of the Korsun Icon of the Mother of God, operating since 1994, where the rector of the temple meets, who will tell about the miraculous icons and the relics of Vanechka Chepolosov, who died in Uglich in the XVIII century under mysterious circumstances. The walk will continue along the central street of the city of Yaroslavskaya with a story about interesting facts from the life of merchants who lived there. The guests will hear the statements of famous people in Russia – artists, architects, writers, their opinions about the city; they will see Uglich through the eyes of artists of that time. The tour ends at the Assumption Square (city center).

It includes a visit to the historical and art museum located on the territory of the Uglich Kremlin, in the unique monuments of the 15th-19th centuries, which houses exhibits related to the history of the city and Russia as a whole. Guests will visit one of the main objects of the museum - Tsarevich Dmitry-on-blood, erected in 1692 on the site of the tragic death of Ivan the Terrible's infant son, as well as the Transfiguration Cathedral of the 18th century - the main cathedral of Uglich. During the tour, tourists will visit the Epiphany Monastery, founded at the end of the 14th century by Dmitry Donskoy's wife, Grand Duchess Evdokia.

The tour includes a visit to the monument of the XV century, the Chamber of Appanage Princes – part of the Kremlin Palace, built under Prince Andrei the Great of Uglich.

Walking tour to the Museum of Hydropower - the museum's exposition tells about the stages of development of hydropower in the USSR and Russia, about outstanding people of the profession, as well as directly about Russian hydroelectric power plants. There are also expositions dedicated to water and promising plans for the development of hydropower in Russia. The museum is a tribute to those who stood at the origins of the domestic hydropower industry, an industry that played a key role in the formation of our country's economy. In total, the museum has 11 exhibition halls located on 3 floors. There is a stereo room in which you can take a virtual trip around the territory of the hydroelectric power plant, find out how it works and even visit the inside of the hydroelectric unit.

The museum is interactive, visitors can build a hydroelectric power station themselves using a special layout, independently generate an electric current, and study the "revived" GOELRO Plan. The Hall of Memory tells about the construction of hydraulic engineering facilities by GULAG prisoners. In other halls, you can learn about the unique hydroelectric power plants located in Russia and abroad. The museum building itself is a historical monument, it housed the Management of Volgolag. And it is no coincidence that a cozy cafe is located on the territory of the museum, because you can walk around the museum for hours - according to calculations, it is possible to conduct various excursions with a total duration of 60 hours!

In the magnificent state hall there are paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky, Karl Bryullov, Pyotr Shamshin, Pavel Pleshanov – graduates and teachers of the Imperial Academy of Arts.

Krasny Perekop Factory

You will visit one of the former settlements, where one of the first manufactories in Russia was founded at the beginning of the XVIII century, a mock-up workshop is now organized in one of the former production buildings, the history of which guests will get acquainted with. This is an impressive industrial architecture of the XIX century and a museum located in one of the workshops of the enterprise, where you can vividly imagine how not only production was organized, but also the way of life and cultural leisure of workers about how during the 300-year history the factory produced fabrics, the city, the factory man and his way of life. Let's try the history of the factory on our personal history, share stories about time, our own destiny, professional dynasties, family history and participation in the life of the city.

During the tour you will learn:

– how the steam engine room became a dining room, and the dining room became a museum;

– what stages of production do a bale of cotton need to go through to become a roll of fabric;

– what events have become significant for the factory history and why the factory district of Krasny Perekop is a special area on the city map.

The International Creative Center "Emalis" in Yaroslavl was created and headed in 1992 by the People's Artist of Russia, President of the Russian branch of the International Association of Enamel Artists "Creativ-Kreis International" Alexander Andreevich Karikh.

Ipatievsky Monastery is located in one of the most picturesque corners of Kostroma. The place where the Kostroma River flows into the Volga was called "strelka" by the Kostroma people from ancient times, and with the appearance of the monastery here it was named "Ipatievsky (Ipatsky) Cape".

The main shrine of the monastery and Kostroma is the miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Fedorovskaya" (The Miraculous Feodorovskaya Icon, according to legend, was painted by the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke. It was found in 1264 by the pious Kostroma Prince Vasily Yaroslavovich, the younger brother of the Holy Blessed Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky).

Kryzhitsky, Grigory Ostrovsky, B.M.Kustodieva, the imperial hall of the Arkhangelsk Estate Museum, where paintings and sculptures from the collection of Princes Yusupov are presented;

For every Russian historical city, its ancient architecture is a matter of special pride. Everything in it is precious and unique - from modest houses to rich mansions and beautiful temples. Myshkin, which officially received the status of a city and a county center in 1777, has well preserved a significant part of the old buildings and the provincial merchant lifestyle.

The program includes:

• external inspection of the merchant estate of Timofey Chistov ser. XIX century (buildings have been preserved in the estate: a merchant's mansion, the house chapel of Saints Flora and Lavra, a servants' house, a guest house, a mechanical mill);
• visit to the mansion of the millionaire merchant T.V. Chistov (paintings, tiled stoves, parquet of the XIX century have been preserved in the mansion); exhibition "Eternal values of Russia. Myshkin in old photographs" (in the premises of the former merchant's carriage house);
• visit to the ancient merchant's mill (inspection of mill mechanisms - the way of turning grain into flour, visit to the exposition "Barn mice", the exhibition "Merchant shops");
• a visit to the Assumption Cathedral (among the iconic monuments of the classical period of the Upper Volga region and Yaroslavl region, the Myshkin Cathedral is one of the most striking and memorable. Even at the end of the XIX century, it amazed the guests of the city with its bold architecture, rich exterior and interior decoration. Its domed space (vault) was compared to the sky). The cathedral was built mainly at the expense of the Myshkin merchant class.

The house of merchant Timofey Chistov stands on the oldest Myshkin Street, not far from the embankment. The estate, built in the second quarter of the XIX century, occupies an entire city block bounded by modern streets - Nikolskaya (Pushkin), Nagornaya, Uglichskaya.

On the territory of the estate, the main building stands out - a two-storey mansion with a mezzanine. In this house in 1866, Chistov, being the mayor, received Tsarevich Alexander. In the 1870s, according to the will of Timofey Vasilyevich, the mansion was sold by the heirs to the city for a hospital for a small amount of money, which has been located in it for more than 100 years. Since 1991, the Opochininsky Library has been located in this house, founded at the end of the XIX century by the county leader of the nobility F.K. Opochinin. The house has preserved paintings of the ceiling ceiling and a wonderful collection of tiled stoves with sculptural inserts.

This exhibition is dedicated to our ancestors who lived on this land and made absolutely everything out of wood that they needed in everyday life, an example of this are interesting exhibits: a winter fishing rod, household appliances of the 19th century: a vegetable press, a grater, a churn, a bread shovel, a prosak and much, much more.

In the ethnographic exhibition "Transformations of a flaxseed" with the exhibition "Doll- my friend", guests will learn how "a shirt grows in the field"-how flax is grown and processed, what dolls our great-great-grandmothers played with, how dolls were made and what they served for. Here in the museum workshop you will be offered to work – to participate in a master class and create a linen doll with your own hands. Everyone who visits the House of Crafts will see with their own eyes the real magic, the miracle of the birth of a man–made thing! The person who works these miracles carries a rare title today – a craftsman. Our craftsmen will be happy to talk about the secrets of the craft, show traditional techniques of working with a variety of materials (clay, iron)

The XIX century is a golden age for the city of Myshkin, 2 thousand inhabitants, 500 people selling various goods, 200 of them merchants, 5 merchants of the first guild, 5 operating temples for such a number of living people, each with its own parish school. Priests are engaged in historical (local history) work, keeping church records. XXI century-three temples have been preserved in Myshkin: the oldest St. Nicholas Cathedral, the summer Assumption Cathedral and the Church of All Sorrowful Joy. Walking through the streets of the city, you will visit two cathedrals and the photo exhibition "Eternal Values of Russia.
