You have a unique opportunity to mentally address the great saint of Russia at the shrine with his imperishable miraculous relics. The cathedral is decorated with frescoes by the great icon painters Andrei Rublev and Daniil Cherny.

09:00 Yaroslavl city tour: the territory of the Transfiguration Monastery-Museum, a walk along the "arrow" of the Volga and Kotorosli rivers, an inspection of the monument to the 1000th anniversary of Yaroslavl, a visit to the Assumption Cathedral, the exterior of St. Elijah the Prophet (a masterpiece of ancient Russian architecture and painting and one of the most recognizable symbols of the city).
You will see that the appearance of the whole city is permeated with antiquity and unique charm — this is one "continuous attraction"!
It is not for nothing that the center of Yaroslavl is included in the UNESCO Cultural Heritage list. And Yaroslavl residents themselves protect it with careful attitude and care. Sometimes you will smell stove smoke... yes, yes... some buildings still have stove heating.
12:30 Boat trip along the Volga River (May-September).
In the off-season, the architecture of St. John the Baptist Church (the exterior of the temple impresses with a variety of decorative forms. All the basic decorative techniques of Russian architecture of the 17th century are used here, among which the main place is occupied by curly bricks).
