Itinerary

Day 1 - Murmansk — Teriberka
The group will meet in the center of Murmansk at 10:00, at the airport at 10:40-11:00 (the latest suitable flight arriving at 10:20).
Transfer to Teriberka 2.5-3 hours.
Upon arrival, we will check into a hotel on the shores of the Barents Sea, have lunch and go on our first acquaintance with Teriberka.
Today or another day we will definitely arrange a seafood tasting — scallop, sea urchin and modiolus. If desired, the scallop and the hedgehog can be cut up on their own, or you can just eat it.
So, we begin to enjoy the nature of the incredible North — let's go on a simple hike along the seashore and tundra.
We will go ashore, walk along the granite cliffs honed by the sea to the old weather station and find ourselves on Dragon Beach, we will reach the Small Battery Lake, the water from which pours into the Barents Sea, forming a waterfall.
The length of the trail is up to 10 km, the hike takes from 3 hours.
Depending on the weather and if you have time, you can manage to reach the fortifications of the Great Patriotic War — the trenches built of stones and artillery batteries have been preserved.
The guides always have a few secret places of interest in stock.
You can have dinner at the Mall or at any other restaurant in Teriberka.
In local restaurants, you can try fresh fish and seafood (cod/halibut steak, scallops, hedgehogs, mussels, and crab).
In the evening after dinner, if there is a forecast, we will arrange a hunt for the Northern Lights. In clear weather, it can appear at any time, even when the geomagnetic activity index is not very high.
Plus, the location of our hotel is on the outskirts of the village, where there is practically no electric illumination, which makes it difficult to observe the aurora, and from there you can quickly go to the seaside, where there are no light sources.
Important! The program is scheduled as standard for the period from the end of August to the end of November. Since the daylight varies from month to month, and the weather can make its own adjustments, the guide is guided by the actual circumstances and forms the timing of the program after the fact.
Usually, all groups have time to see everything that is stated in the program, but at different times and in different sequences.

Day 2 - Boat trip on the Barents Sea
Breakfast will be served in one of the most delicious places in Teriberka — the Mole gastropub, and today we will sail to the Barents Sea in search of whales (5 hours in August, September, October, November).
Based on the situation at sea and information about where other vessels have seen whales, the ship's captain will determine the route.
In August (if the weather is good), we can take a speedboat to the village of Dalniye Zelentsy and take a walk there.
This is an abandoned and very little—visited village, atmospheric and very interesting - once there was a branch of a scientific institute here, which was abandoned with all the equipment.
The cost of boat charter (rental) during the autumn dates (from September to November) includes sauna access (at this time we rent the only boat with a sauna in Teriberka) and go fishing.
The captain's assistant and the guide will help you prepare the catch in the ship's kitchen or barbecue.
The probability of encountering whales is quite high. In 2024, out of 43 groups, 13 did not see whales (for various reasons — either they did not meet, or going to sea was impossible due to a storm).
Whale activity can be at any time, it is not predictable.
Activity peaks depend on processes in the world's oceans that are not fully understood. But it should be understood that the sea is not an aquarium, and whales are not trained animals that come at a whistle.
It is impossible to predict in advance whether there will be a meeting with whales, how many there will be, what they will do (show their fin, tail or jump out of the water).
Depending on how much free time you have left on that day, the guide will suggest what else you can do or you can take additional excursions (ride quad bikes, swim on a sap, snorkel or freedive, go to the sauna, fly a helicopter).
In the evening we will watch the forecast of the aurora borealis, perhaps the hunt will not be last night, but this one.

Day 3 - Teriberka — Murmansk
We'll have breakfast at the Mall, pack our things, leave them in the hotel lobby (as check-out is before 12:00) and go for a walk.
We will see the old part of Teriberka — the cemetery of ships, a huge swing on the shore of the Barents Sea, an abandoned school, the skeleton of a whale and a beached ship.
We will also walk along the sandy beach, swing on a giant swing, feed the deer with yagel on the farm and see the place where the house from the movie "Leviathan" stood.
Teriberka is a small village on the shores of the Barents Sea. People have lived here since the 17th century — traditionally the Pomors were engaged in fishing.
In the middle of the 19th century, the rise began — the places were actively developed due to the seafood-rich Barents Sea, whaling developed (now it is prohibited).
Teriberka became widely known after the movie Leviathan. It is thanks to the film, the fashion for the Arctic and the fact that Teriberka is the only place on the shores of the Barents Sea that can be reached by an ordinary car that tourists are now coming here.
After lunch we will go back to Murmansk.
With groups on August 22-24 and 29-31, we will arrive at the airport by 19:00 (the earliest flight suitable for departure is at 20:30), from September to November we will arrive at the airport around 16:30 (the earliest flight suitable for departure is at 18:05), and then we can take those who wish to the center of Murmansk.

The camping cabins are equipped with a private bathroom and have an area of 12 square meters.

Each cottage has two single beds that can be moved, but without a connecting mattress.

A hairdryer and shower facilities are available.
