Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Murmansk. Photo hunt for the Northern Lights
You arrive in the hero city of Murmansk by air or railway transport on your own.
We recommend arrival after 13:00, so that you have time to get to the hotel and check in.
Check-in at the hotel according to international standards starts at 14:00. Check-in time at the hotel can be changed/ different, in case of postponement of check-in time, things can be left in the luggage room.
A general gathering of the group for dinner and acquaintance.
The meeting time of the group is 18:30 at the address: 5/23 Five Corners Square, Vorovsky St., Meridian Hotel lobby (the exact time will be indicated by the guide the day before).
We will go to dinner at one of the restaurants of the Arctic cuisine, get to know each other and discuss plans for the weekend. The menu includes: hot food to choose from, dessert, drink and warming tea.
You can order additional items from the menu (to be paid for yourself).

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and no one can guarantee its appearance.
Important! Departure is carried out according to favorable forecasts, in the absence of minimal chances, departure can be canceled and postponed to the next day.
This amazing natural phenomenon does not leave indifferent even those who, it would seem, are accustomed to the wonderful iridescences of color in the night sky. What can we say about those who saw it for the first time!
It's impossible to watch the flashes burning in the sky in the city. All the beauty is revealed far from the city lights, in the open spaces of the northern nature.
Gathering of the group at the Meridian Hotel.
The guide will inform you about the exact time the day before.
Please do not be late and always stay in touch, as the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and check-out times may change.
Hunting can take several hours, we kindly ask you to take care of warm clothes and shoes in advance!
During the search, the guide will not only tell you the details and rules of shooting, but also tell you about the wonders that are associated with the Northern Lights, the nature of its origin, the legends and secrets of the unique phenomenon.
Taking photos during the aurora is included in the price.
During shooting, you must carefully listen to the guide, observe safety precautions, and turn off the flash on the cameras.
Important! The photographer guide takes several general group shots after each participant's photo. If the flash duration allows, you can take a few additional pictures.
We are returning to Murmansk, to the starting point.

Day 2 - Ethnic village and majestic Khibiny
Gathering of the group in Kirovsk. The guide will inform you of the departure time the day before, the approximate departure time is 08:00 (time may vary, depending on weather conditions)
We will meet in the lobby of the Meridian Hotel, Five Corners Square, Vorovsky St., 5/23.
Transfer to Kirovsk, the heart of Khibiny.
The passes and mountain lakes simply take your breath away and make you feel an avalanche of emotions from the harsh beauty of the North.
Khibiny is the largest mountain range on the Kola Peninsula and one of the most interesting in its mineralogy in the world.
An ethnic village.
In the program:
stories and legends about the indigenous peoples of the Far North at the burning hearth;
active games (lasso throwing, archery, Sami football);
unique Sami objects and artifacts;
feeding reindeer and huskies (you will have the opportunity to take photos and videos with these cute animals);
sledding.
Multi-course lunch at an ethnic cafe.
The next point of our trip will be the city of Kirovsk, surrounded by a mountain range of majestic Khibiny mountains.
Arriving in Kirovsk, a sightseeing tour of the city provides 2-3 stops in the most picturesque places so that you can not only enjoy a comfortable trip, but also capture all the beauty of the very heart of Khibiny.
Apatit Museum and Exhibition Center.
The building of the IEC with a clock tower is the architectural dominant of the polar city of Kirovsk.
The museum is located in the central square of the city and has a collection of minerals, detailed models of mining operations, multimedia exhibitions and digital exhibits.
Snow village (included in the price).

Day 3 - To the edge of the world in Teriberka. A boat trip in search of whales
Gathering of the group in Teriberka.
The guide will inform you of the departure time the day before, the approximate departure time is 08:00 (time may vary, depending on weather conditions).
We will meet in the lobby of the Meridian Hotel, 5/23 Vorovsky St., Five Corners Square.
Crossing the endless tundra towards the ocean.
The trip to Teriberka will take about 2.5 hours in one direction.
The path itself will run through the amazing and incredible expanses of the northern tundra.
Along the way, we will make several stops to capture the beauty of the North on film.
On the way, the guide will tell you fascinating facts from the history of this amazing region.
The cemetery of abandoned ships.
As you know, Teriberka is an ancient fishing village, whose life began with fishing.
The cemetery of ships is the main evidence of the past, the ship's frames are forever buried in the shallows of the Teribersk Bay.
A boat trip in search of wonders.
The most long—awaited thing is to go in search of whales!
A sea trip through the waters of the Barents Sea awaits you.
Along the way, we will observe the bird markets, enjoy the fascinating views of the steep cliffs extending deep into the seabed and the vast expanses of the Barents Sea.
And most importantly, along the way we will have a unique opportunity to see whales, killer whales and other marine life!
If the boat trip does not take place due to weather conditions, a refund is provided. Refund amount: the cost of the boat is based on the number of participants.
Lunch with a view of the ocean and the enchanting beauty of Teriberka.
The tour includes a multi-course set lunch: ear with tender fillet of sea fish, a choice of meat or fish dish with a side dish, mors made from fresh northern berries.
Important! For reasons beyond the control of the company, lunch may be canceled.
Teriberka Nature Park.
The Teriberka Nature Park is located on an area of several thousand hectares, which ensures the preservation of natural objects with high value.
Among the main places included in the park, we will visit:
Battery Waterfall, whose waters fall from the Small Battery Lake;
Dragon Egg Beach, while traveling along the beach, you will be able to take a lot of atmospheric photos.
During the snowy winter, when you can't get to Dragon Eggs Beach, Battery Falls and other natural attractions on foot, we'll use a snowmobile sled.
We say goodbye to Teriberka and the ocean.
We are returning to Murmansk, the day was bright with impressions and full of emotions.

Day 4 - Sightseeing tour of Murmansk
Gathering a group for a sightseeing tour. The guide will inform you about the time of departure to the lagoon.
We will meet in the lobby of the Meridian Hotel, 5/23 Vorovsky St., Five Corners Square.
We are going on a sightseeing tour of the hero city of Murmansk.
You will learn the origin of the name, get acquainted with the significant architectural sights of Murmansk.
The first point of the tour will be the Marine Station and the first nuclear-powered vessel on the planet, the nuclear icebreaker Lenin (external inspection, guided tour if tickets are available).
Sad pages of history, we will go to the Memorial "To the Sailors who died in peacetime": a tower stylized as a lighthouse, a ship's anchor and part of the cabin raised from the Kursk submarine, the Church of the Savior on Waters.
Looking into the distance, you will definitely notice the snow-white figure of a soldier, more than 35 meters high.
The next point of the tour will be the Green Cape Hill and the memorial to the "Defenders of the Soviet Arctic", popularly known as "Alyosha".

The organization of the tour was excellent. However, there was one downside: on the last day, the departure was scheduled for seven in the morning, and the group had to leave without breakfast. This isn’t our first trip, and in similar situations, we’ve usually been provided with packed meals. Unfortunately, this time that didn’t happen, and the hotel breakfast also starts at seven.
