Itinerary

Day 1 - Indel River (10 km)
09:00 In the morning we pick up tourists from the accommodation places, or we meet at the railway station, the main square of the city of Murmansk, we can also pick up tourists on the way to Kandalaksha.
Transfer Murmansk – Umba, then transfer to the starting point of the route – Indel river (85 km, travel time 5 hours).
Preparing equipment, collecting catamarans, loading things.
Lunch.
Safety instructions.
Short rafting on the Indel River (10 km).
Dinner and overnight in the field.
Day 2 - Pana River (15 km)
Breakfast.
On this day we walk 15 km along the Pana River, these rivers are small and shallow with rifts and quiet reaches.
We will make a stop at the Pan River for the night.
In this place, we will have a rest, unspoilt nature and great salmon fishing.

Day 3 - Pana River (10 km)
Breakfast.
We will continue rafting on the Pana River. After 3-4 km, it flows into the Varzuga River.
The rafting continues for 10 km, in the area of the Kochkama River we will set up camp and stop for the night.
Exciting fishing awaits us at the confluence of these rivers. There are a lot of salmon in the river, and it won't keep us waiting long.
Day 4 - Perekat Krivets
Breakfast.
We gather and drive about 18 km among the steep rocky shores covered with pine forest, we will pass the Krivets crossing and reach the next camp of the Nitongi River.
In this place, you have a high chance of catching salmon.
Day 5 - The day
We can have a day out on this day.
Day 6 - Rafting to the Arenga River and Arengovsky waterfall
Breakfast.
Then you will have a rafting trip 15 km to the Arenga River.
We're setting up camp.
Those interested will visit the 10-meter Arengovsky waterfall, which is located 1.9 km from the Varzuga River.
Day 7 - Varzuga rafting
Breakfast.
A short rafting trip along Varzuga to the Pomeranian village of Varzuga of the same name (10 km). The forest ends, and ahead, on the high right bank, a wooden church, a monument of Russian northern architecture of the XVI century, is visible. Varzuga is located on the left and right banks, one of the oldest Russian settlements on the Kola Peninsula.
The final ridge of the Varzuga rapids, about 4 km long, lies below the village, starting almost immediately after the last houses. The Sea rapids encountered on the way are four difficult sections (Dog, Cage, Koitugov, Marine) and the easy Frying Pan threshold — the last obstacle on Varzug.
The dog is a stormy threshold consisting of several steep drops, the ship's course along it is difficult. Beyond the last threshold, the Varzuga flows along an almost 2-kilometer channel between low banks. There are many islands at the mouth. The river flows through sand dunes for the last kilometers. This is a very peculiar landscape. The yellow dunes stretch away in dreary ridges to the horizon.

This is not a technically difficult tour, suitable for those who have not previously rafted on the water. But! This is a multi-day tour in autonomous conditions. The tourist should understand that there is no connection and Internet, shops. It is possible to evacuate only in case of emergency with the help of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Overnight stays and meals in field conditions.

It's important to know

For the bivouac:

comfortable shoes (you need to take something like sneakers and preferably not very wet ones);
forest trousers and jacket, thermal underwear, socks, gloves.

For the alloy:

comfortable shoes, ideally neoprene socks and sneakers on them, or rubber boots, you can put sneakers on a wool sock;
thermal underwear or a jacket and trousers;
middle layer: fleece or woolen jacket;
Top layer: maximum waterproof clothing with a hood;
