After the bus part of the tour, you will take an exciting walking tour of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.
This is a unique military engineering structure of the beginning of the XVI century, which was one of the most important elements in the defense of the city. In the entire history of its existence, it has never been captured, despite numerous attempts.
The oldest Nizhny Novgorod Cathedral is located here – Mikhailo-Arkhangelsky (an architectural monument of the XVII century), it is in it that the ashes of the great Nizhny Novgorod resident Kozma Minin are buried.
Next, you will have an excursion to the Voznesensky Pechersk Monastery.
Today, the ensemble of the monastery occupies more than 5 hectares and includes 5 temples, a bell tower and bishops' chambers.
The excursion program will end with a cable car ride along the Nizhny Novgorod – Bor – Nizhny Novgorod route (in a circle without exit).
From the highest point there are magnificent views of Nizhny Novgorod and the flood meadows of the Bor floodplain.
