Day 1 - Murom, Vyksa
07:15 Gathering of the group in Moscow, VDNKh metro station, parking lot to the right of the Kosmos Hotel.
07:30 Departure to Murom.
Murom is the most ancient city of the Vladimir region, it was mentioned in the "Tale of Bygone Years" back in 862!
This is a city of white-stone monasteries, merchant houses of the 19th century and the birthplace of the epic hero Ilya Muromets, who will meet upon arrival and treat you to a real Murom roll!
Lunch at a cafe in the city.
Murom Sightseeing Tour:
Trinity Convent, where the relics of Peter and Fevronia, the patrons of love and marriage, rest.;
Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery: miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Skoroposlushnitsa";
Annunciation Monastery: icon of St. Elijah of Murom with a fragment of relics;
The monument to Ilya Muromets is one of the most notable sights of Murom.

For an additional fee, a master class on baking a traditional Murom roll is 1,500 rubles. (per person)

Day 2 - Diveevo
06:00 Breakfast in the hotel restaurant (continental).
Departure to Diveevo settlement.
Visit to Diveevo Holy springs: in the name of the Mother of God "Kazan", the "Tenderness" icon, the holy healer Panteleimon. You will be able to collect healing water and, if desired, swim in it.
Free time.
Guided tour of the territory of the Serafimo-Diveevsky Monastery, named after Seraphim of Sarov, who took care of this monastery.
Inspection of existing temples:
Trinity Cathedral: the holy relics of St. Seraphim, the miraculous icon of "Tenderness";
Transfiguration Cathedral: relics of St. Martha of Diveevo, relics of Blessed Paraskeva;
Kazan Church: relics of Saints Alexandra, Martha, and Elena;
The Holy Groove of the Most Holy Theotokos is the greatest Diveevo and universal shrine in the world. The Priest spoke about the grace bestowed by the Holy Groove: "Whoever goes through the Groove with prayer, and reads a hundred and fifty "Theotokos", it's all here: Mount Athos, Jerusalem, and Kiev."

The hotel is located in the center of Vyksa, a 3-minute walk from Metallurg Stadium. The facade of the Batashev Hotel is decorated in a classic style. Many thanks to “Big Country” for this wonderful tour. The entire trip was organized exceptionally well: the hotels, meals, and transportation were all excellent. But the real highlight of the journey was our tour guide, Denis!!! Honestly, without him the trip would not have been nearly as memorable. Visiting so many churches and historical sites without meaningful context would have quickly become monotonous. Most of the local guides simply rushed through the program with dry facts and dates, almost like a school lecture. Denis, however, made everything come alive. Even before we arrived at each destination, he was already sharing fascinating stories and background information on the bus, which helped us appreciate the places so much more once we got there. Not a single person was late for the bus in the mornings! Everyone was eager not to miss his stories!!! He has an incredible knowledge of the history and geography of the region, and he could make even the scenery outside the window interesting!!! Listening to him never felt tiring because he spoke with such enthusiasm and passion!!! For the last two days we had a different guide, and the contrast was huge - unfortunately, it just wasn’t engaging at all. To sum it up: excellent organization, comfortable travel conditions, and an outstanding guide like Denis made this trip truly special!!! I only wish there were more professionals like him.
