Opening the door slightly, you enter a beautiful authentic hall, the design solution of which is the merit of the director of the museum Yulia Andreevna Stepanova. You will immediately see Genghis Khan himself, the golden leader, who sits proudly on his throne surrounded by horsemen with gleaming sabers and burning eyes. The realism of the composition is achieved by the talent of the masters: the sculptor Alexander Bochkarev and the artists Ruslan Ibragimov and Valery Blokhin.
  
  An excursion into history begins with the birth of Temujin, and continues with no less significant conquests of his descendants. All this is shown with the help of beautiful reconstructions of artifacts, paintings and miniatures. Mongolian waist bands, patterns on armor and helmets eventually became common to many medieval warriors. One of the most striking examples of this is the silk of Ivan the Terrible, decorated with a golden notch and an arabographic pattern. The museum features several types of armor, helmets, sabers, and a recurve bow that is ingenious in its design.
  
  And although the Mongols were noted in history primarily as excellent warriors and great conquerors, their history is not limited only to war, the Silk Road is an ancient trade artery running from distant China to the Black Sea coast. There's a cauldron in the hall, but what a cauldron! It's not a shame to name a city after such a thing!   The Museum of the Quran is a building designed in the style of ancient Bulgarian buildings. The largest printed book in the world, the Quran, is located in the main hall. The ground floor houses the exposition of the Museum of the Quran.
  
  The Cathedral Mosque is an architectural monument of the 13th century and a Large Minaret, restored in 2000. The Cathedral Mosque was the main building in medieval Bulgaria, where prayer, religious rites, and azan were performed.
  
  The Northern Mausoleum is a tomb mausoleum, a monument of the 14th century located opposite the main entrance of the Cathedral Mosque. Today, there is an exhibition of Bulgarian epigraphic monuments inside the monument. The preserved epigraphic monuments have an inscription consisting of a Quranic saying, name, genealogy and date of death of the buried.
  
  The "Oriental Mausoleum" is a monument of the XIV century, located to the east of the Cathedral Mosque, in its architecture belongs to the type of Muslim tent tombs with an outrigger portal. The Oriental Mausoleum is the most fully preserved monument among other buildings of Bulgarian architecture.
  
  The Khan's Palace is an architectural monument of the middle of the 13th century, built immediately after the Mongol conquest. One of the first white stone buildings on the territory of ancient Bulgaria, built before the Cathedral Mosque. The foundation and a small part of the walls have been preserved.
  
  The "Eastern Chamber" (Khan's Bath) is a monument of the 13th century, one of the earliest stone buildings on the settlement. It is located near the center of the ancient city and in close proximity to the Khan's Palace.
  
  "The Small Minaret and the Khan's Tomb" are monuments of the 14th century. Mausoleums were family tombs of the noble families of the city. The small minaret is part of the complex with the Khan's tomb.
  
  The "memorial sign to the Sahabas" was erected near the Small Minaret of the Bulgarian settlement, where, according to legend, there is a conditional burial place of one sahaba.
  
  The White Chamber (bathhouse) is a monument of the 14th century. The bathhouse had an underground heating system, water supply and sewerage system similar to the Eastern Chamber.
