09:00 Breakfast at the glamping cafe.
10:30 a.m. Continuation of rafting on the river (11 km).
We won't have time to be bored on the river.
The swift current of the river will carry the SUP-boards past steep scenic slopes and limestone outcrops.
The rocky ridges and backwaters of the Zusha are perfect for fishing for pike and chub. You can also count on a good catch of roach, carp and bream.
The nature of the river is very variable: the deep riverbed is suddenly replaced by rapid ripples and shallow waters.
Inspection of the Holy Spirit Monastery.
During our trip, we will stop in the village of Zadushnoye, where the Holy Spirits Monastery stands on the high bank of the Zusha.
It is one of the oldest Orthodox monasteries in Russia and is located on the so-called "Lithuanian Gentry", along which hordes of invaders and robbers came from the West to Russia.
This has led to its important strategic importance in the past. The Holy Spirit Monastery was first documented in 1619, but according to legend, it was founded in the 12th century by Hieromonk Abraham, a disciple of the Holy Martyr Kuksha.
The monastery looks spectacular from the surface of the river, reflected in the waters of the Zusha. We will spend the rest of the afternoon on the water, looking at the limestone outcrops and picturesque slopes along the shores, swimming on the rocky beaches.
