Marine Reserve in Primorye

The ticks: They are in the taiga (June). We warn you that ticks do not live on the coast and on the islands, but "lucky" tourists can meet them everywhere! 

Recommendations: If there are no contraindications, get vaccinated against encephalitis. Clothes should cover the body: long sleeves, trousers with cuffs, T-shirts tucked into trousers. The clothes should be smooth. Look around every 40 minutes, use repellents (with alphamethrin or alfatsipermethrin). After a walk in the taiga, look around, the tick may remain on your clothes.

Cross-legged jellyfish: They appear in the warmed-up bays (August). They're small and hard to spot. Recommendations: In case of a burn, get out of the water, rinse with fresh water, take antihistamines. If you have an allergic reaction, consult a doctor. 

Snakes: There are in the grass and on the rocks. Snakes will never attack first.

Recommendations: be careful, do not walk barefoot, do not touch snakes. In case of a bite, take antihistamines and consult a doctor. 

Safety measures: follow the guide's instructions on the routes and never overtake him, as he is the most experienced and knows how to act in a dangerous situation. 

New foods: Try new foods with caution, especially seafood. The locals know what protein poisoning is. You can not consume a lot! It's better to have a little bit every day. Do not experiment on the route! If you have a weak stomach, your pills are always with you. 

Weather: rain is not the reason for canceling the route. The main thing is the right equipment. In case of a storm warning, the travel agency has the right to change the excursion program and offers an overland tour.

Khasansky district is located in the south of Primorsky Krai. Depending on the places visited, the journey from Vladivostok can take from 2 to 5 hours in one direction. 

Technical and photo stops are planned along the way. Roads may be uneven, with patches of unpaved ground. The quality of transport depends on the quality of the roads, 6-20-seat tourist class buses are used, without luggage compartment, off—road vehicles, there may be no air conditioning in transport. 

Delivery to the reserve is carried out on a small vessel designed for boarding 10-12 people. The boat is open, moving fast, strongly blown by the wind. Each passenger is sitting in the same place, it is impossible to get up and move around the ship. There is no toilet on the boat. Your luggage will be protected from sea spray in a small forward cabin. Tourists sit along the sides. 

It is mandatory to wear a life jacket on a boat! We need to be ready to climb in and out of the boat without a ladder — a steep nose, give a hand, help each other. When moving through the sea on the waves, the boat can rock and toss.

Virtual tour leader, guide during the tour. There is no single guide on the route. A group of guides works with tourists, and you have a new guide every day. Each of them specializes in specific topics (botany, zoology, history, boat trips) to ensure the most interesting experience.

A week before the tour, a closed group is created in the MAX messenger, where all the participants of the tour come together. Information on each excursion day is posted to the group 1 day before the start. The meeting place, time, contact phone number and the name of the guide are specified. What is unclear can always be clarified.

Monsoon climate: In summer, the humidity in Primorye is very high. Many people say that we "breathe with our gills." It can be difficult for people with blood pressure problems. 

Summer shift: June is not summer yet. We have frequent fogs, this is due to the collision of warm air masses with the cold ocean. 

Bathing season: From mid-July to mid-September (sometimes until the end of September). The water warms up to 18-23 C. Take swimsuits – they will definitely be useful to you. 

Indian Summer: September is the perfect time to travel: warm, dry and sunny. 

Time difference: Vladivostok +7 hours to Moscow. Discomfort due to jet lag in the early days.

Tip: Drink tea with adaptogens, arrive a day earlier or buy an early check-in at the hotel to adapt to the time.

The tour participant is responsible for his physical fitness, health status and compliance with safety regulations. When booking a tour, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the terms of participation and evaluate your capabilities. 

The route includes hiking over rough terrain, with elevation differences up to 120 m, and a length of up to 3 km. The trails in the reserve are not always prepared, there may be areas with rocks and roots. 

During boat trips, boats can bounce on the waves, and it can be windy, cold, and wet on board. Boarding and disembarkation can be carried out from the wild shore without a pier. Motion sickness can increase discomfort. Assessing your own physical fitness can be subjective before booking a tour. 

Please note: if you are not confident in your abilities or have health problems (cardiovascular, musculoskeletal), we recommend that you consult a doctor before traveling. 

Please note: there is no way in the reserve to divide the group into weaker and stronger members. The guide will be guided by the general condition of the group and make decisions based on safety considerations.

Important: if you overestimate your strength and this leads to your discomfort or inability to participate in any activity, the travel agency is not responsible for your condition and is not obligated to reimburse the cost of the tour. 

You can request additional consultation with the tour organizers, view photos and videos from the route. The travel agency has the right to refuse to participate in the tour if it sees that the tourist does not meet the physical fitness requirements.

Vladivostok International Airport named after V. K. Arsenyev is located at a distance of 44 km from the seaside capital and 5 km from the city center of Artyom. 

There are several ways to get from Vladivostok to the airport, but we will tell you about the most comfortable options.

If you use these services, change the location of the city to Vladivostok in the settings and make a request. 

At the airport, the taxi booking desk is located on the 1st floor at the exit of the terminal building (Maxim, Primavtoline, cost 1500-2000 rubles). 

Aeroexpress (branded electric train).

Vladivostok (railway station) – airport: 07:01, 09:02, 10:05, 10:50, 11:52, 13:11, 16:22 and 18:03. 

Vladivostok Airport: 07:40, 08:41, 10:40, 11:28, 12:30, 14:05, 14:55, 18:00.

The fare is 280 rubles, and the journey takes 54 minutes.

Air and railway tickets are not included in the price of the tour. You can purchase them yourself or contact us for help.

During the trip, the travel agency insures a group of tourists from an accident at the insurance company Far Eastern branch of PJSC SAK ENERGOGARANT (Vladivostok, Bestuzheva str., 21-a, office 107).

An accident is defined as a sudden, unforeseen event that actually occurred on the route, resulting in a health disorder of the tourist. 

In the event of an accident, the tourist contacts the nearest medical facility and at the same time notifies the representative of the travel agency, who will advise you on further actions.

We recommend taking water and a trash bag with you on the route. 

In the village of Barabash, there is a shop where you can buy additional products. 

Meals included in the price of the tour: 

• Day 2: breakfast at the hotel, lunch at the lunch box on the route;
• Day 3: breakfast, lunch in the lunch box on the route, dinner;
• Day 4: breakfast, lunch in the lunch box, dinner;
• Day 5: breakfast, lunch in the lunch box;
• Day 6: Breakfast at the hotel.

Lunch-picnic on the tour in lunch boxes or in individual packages. No menu selection.

Active tour for adults up to 64 years old, children from 7-10 years old.

The age limit of up to 64 years is determined by the peculiarities of the region, climate, and display facilities. The city is located on hills, surrounded by the sea on three sides. The guests note that at first it is difficult for them to constantly go up and down.

There is no proper tourist infrastructure at a distance from the city. The boats are small and fast, without toilets. The sea is not always calm. There are no piers or changing places on the islands. None of this is suitable for older tourists. Roads around the edge are not of good quality everywhere.
