Day 1 - Big sightseeing tour of Borovichi. Visit to the Holy Spirit Monastery. Borovichi History Museum Tour
07:00 Departure from 10 Ligovsky ave. gost. Oktyabrskaya Street.
07:30 Departure from Moskovskaya metro station, Demonstration passage.
Transfer to Borovichi via the M 11 expressway.
Big sightseeing tour of Borovichi. You will stroll through the streets of the historical center, explore the old houses that have preserved the unique appearance of the merchant city of the late XVIII-XIX centuries.
You will find out why Borovichi became the center of film production, because it was in Borovichi that Eldar Ryazanov shot the film "Quiet Pools" and get acquainted with the unique details of everyday life of the last century.
Visit to the Holy Spirit Monastery. The oldest Orthodox monastery, known for its rich history and unique architecture, will be an important stage in your acquaintance with the spiritual life of the region.
Excursion to the Museum of the History of Borovichi. Immerse yourself in an exciting journey through the pages of Borovichi history, learn the details of the life of citizens from different eras and enjoy the exposition of ancient household items.
The program of the museum's visit includes an excursion with theatrical elements "five love stories".
Tea party with hearty pies.
A master class on playing with spoons.
This unique lesson will allow you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of traditional Russian culture and master the technique of playing this simple but incredibly expressive instrument.

Day 2 - The village of Konchansko-Suvorovskoye and the village of Lyubytino
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the village of Konchansko-Suvorovskoye.
Excursion to the museum-estate of A. V. Suvorov. The estate gained fame after it became the place of exile of the disgraced commander in the 18th century.
Enjoy the atmosphere of an 18th-century noble manor, walk along the paths where Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov himself walked, and touch the legendary history of the outstanding Russian commander.
A traditional dish of Russian culture is vodka and a radish sandwich, which has been preserved since the time of the Suvorov campaigns (tea with a pie is provided for children).
Transfer to the village of Lyubytino.
Lunch (extra charge).
Sightseeing tour of the village Lyubytino. You will plunge into the atmosphere of an ancient Russian town surrounded by picturesque landscapes. You can take wonderful photos against the backdrop of local architecture and enjoy a walk through the cozy streets of the village.
Lyubytino is surrounded by forests and ponds, which add a special beauty to this place. The tour will end at the Museum of Local lore, where you will get acquainted with the way of life and traditions of the villagers.
Free time for a walk through the open-air museum "Slavic village of the 10th century".
Transfer to St. Petersburg via the M11 expressway. Estimated arrival time is 23:00
Tourists from Moscow are advised to depart from St. Petersburg, Moskovsky Railway Station by train departing after 22:30.

I'm so glad I chose the 'Across the Expanses of Perm the Great' tour in July 2024. It was a high-quality, engaging, and thoughtfully designed journey through the entire Perm region. The trip was full of fascinating discoveries: ancient monasteries, unique museums, the distinctive Permian animal style and wooden deities, the history of salt production and the Stroganovs in the Urals, and much more. The natural beauty of Parma was breathtaking: dense forests, countless rivers, mountains, and even an ice cave. The hotels were comfortable, and the breakfasts and lunches were tasty, often featuring elements of local cuisine. Traveling in a small group made the experience even more enjoyable, after all, it's usually seasoned travelers who venture to the Perm region. One special moment was when we all got to bake and taste traditional gingerbread made from an old recipe, for many of us, it was a first.
