The best on the Putorana Plateau

The Putorana Plateau is the Russian Arctic, the land of thousands of waterfalls and protected lakes.

There are preserved places where literally no human foot has ever set foot. The Russian pole of inaccessibility is also located here – the most remote and inaccessible point of the country from civilization. Now you have the opportunity to erase this white spot from the map of your travels, learn the harsh history of the development of the northernmost peninsula of Eurasia and conquer the Putorana plateau, while remaining at the usual level of comfort.

Trekking to the observation deck of Mount Festivalnaya, a visit to the canyon and Neralakh waterfall, a full-day excursion to the indigenous peoples in Dudinka, water walks along the fjord lakes, wild pristine beauty with premium comfort and restaurant meals with an emphasis on northern cuisine are waiting for you.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Required equipment:

  1. High-top trekking boots. This is the main protection of your feet from injury when traveling over rough terrain, climbing mountains on rocky slopes and steep descents. Correctly chosen shoes are the key to comfort on the route. It is best to take worn shoes on the tour, otherwise we strongly recommend that you stock up on a patch.
  2. An additional comfortable pair of shoes (sneakers). In the evening, after an active day, the legs should rest, and the trekking boots should dry.
  3. Waterproof trousers and a jacket made of membrane. In the absence of such, in addition to outerwear, be sure to take a waterproof raincoat ("Raincoat"). During the active part of the tour, exclude denim, it dries for a long time, is not practical and increases the likelihood of injury.
  4. A jacket (fleece, Polartec, a sweater is possible). When choosing a jacket, it is important to take into account the thermal qualities, as well as the properties of drying quickly.
  5. Two sets of thermal underwear or an analog (cotton is not suitable). The second set is necessary if the first one is wet and has not had time to dry.
  6. A warm jacket (down jacket) or down vest. During the day at the top of the plateau and in the evenings at the base, the temperature can drop below zero.
  7. Fleece gloves. For warmth, protection from rain, wind and mosquitoes.
  8. Trekking socks 2-3 pairs, 1-2 pairs of plain socks, 1 pair of warm socks (exclude cotton as much as possible).
  9. Spare socks are needed not only in case of contamination, but also in case of getting wet feet.
  10. T-shirt 2-3 pieces. Synthetic T-shirts dry faster.
  11. Thin hat, buff, cap. The weather is changing rapidly on the plateau, today the sun is hot, and in the morning there is a cold wind with snow.
  12. Personal hygiene products.
  13. Personal first aid kit. The instructor has a general first aid kit, it contains everything necessary for first aid. We recommend taking individual medications yourself.
  14. A small backpack of no more than 35 liters, for carrying personal belongings during radial exits.
  15. Slates for showers and baths.
  16. Bathing accessories.
  17. Sunscreen.
  18. Sunglasses.
  19. A spray against midges and mosquitoes and/or a mosquito net. In summer, there are a lot of mosquitoes and midges on the Llama. But we know how to deal with them. No annoying insect will stop you from enjoying your outdoor recreation.
Recommended equipment:
  1. An airtight phone bag.
  2. Binoculars or a telescope.
