5. When meeting a bear, do not panic and follow the guide's commands clearly.
6. When encountering a wild animal, do not run away — this may provoke the beast to chase. If the animal noticed you and did not run away, but on the contrary, shows curiosity, you should try to drive it away with a scream, a rocket, a shot in the air, try to look bigger and taller than you really are, if you move as part of a group — get together.
7. When meeting a bear closely, do not look into his eyes intently. For any wild animal, a close look is a sign of an impending attack.
8. Contrary to popular belief, a bear standing on its hind legs is not aggressive. He just gets up to take a good look at the surrounding area and see for himself what his good sense of smell and acute hearing have already told him.
9. To avoid an unwanted encounter with a wild animal, make your movement loud. As a rule, a bear shows aggression only if it is scared by the sudden appearance of a person, caught off guard next to its prey.
10. Do not leave food and food waste after snacking, their smell may attract wild animals.
11. If you have met a bear cub, then you need to leave as soon as possible. Don't forget that his mother is most likely nearby.
12. Do not show signs of aggression towards the bear, do not throw stones or sticks at it.
13. If you failed to scare him off, lie down on the ground in the fetal position or on your stomach. Close your hands around your neck and protect your head. Pretend to be dead. Do not move, even if it seems to you that the bear is not looking at you or that it is moving away. It's better to wait for him to leave.

Routes through the territory of the buffer zone of the Putoransky Nature Reserve have risk factors and a real threat to human health and life in a mountainous natural environment. In this area, sudden changes in temperature, barometric pressure, rapid changes in the weather, thunderstorms, heavy rains, snow, rockfalls, and rising water levels in reservoirs are possible.

For a safe and comfortable stay, it is necessary to strictly observe the rules and safety precautions on the routes:

• it is important to take care of the issued group and special equipment, make sure that it is working before the start of the route, adjust it for yourself, if necessary, use the help of a guide;
• it is unacceptable to enter the route under the influence of alcohol or drug intoxication. In case of any emergency situation with an intoxicated participant, the guide is not responsible, claims are not accepted, the insurance company has the right to refuse payment of accident insurance;

Before entering the route, you must:

• Make sure you take an adequate supply of drinking water and a snack with you;
• make sure that your clothes and shoes match the weather conditions, consult with a guide about the choice;

Alcohol consumption is prohibited during the active part of the route. If a participant is found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the instructor has the right to refuse the tourist to participate in the program. Alcohol is not in the diet. If you need alcohol, take care of it in advance (you can buy it at a supermarket in the city of Norilsk on the first day of the tour).

Smoking is prohibited in the premises and public areas. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. On the route, smoking is allowed only at a distance from the main group, without causing inconvenience to the rest of the group. On the Putorana plateau, most routes take place in the protected area of the reserve, so it is forbidden to throw away cigarette butts. If you smoke during the day, take care of a pocket ashtray in advance. Serious fines are provided for clogging the nature protection zone.

There are only 4 months on the Putorana plateau during which the average daily temperature is above zero: June, July, August and September. In June and July, there are 1.5−2 times more sunny days than in other summer months.

The summer travel season on the Putorana Plateau begins in early July, when the ice melts on the lakes, and lasts until mid-September, when new snow does not cover the mountains.

Features of travel by month:

• in July: warm, lots of sun and little rain, deep waterfalls, polar day (the sun does not set), mosquitoes from the beginning of the month, midges appear at the end of the month, horseflies and gadflies appear at temperatures above 25 degrees, the most stable weather for helicopter excursions;
• in August: mushrooms and berries, beautiful and long sunsets, night in the form of twilight, by the end of the month there are few mosquitoes, midges remain until the end of the month, stable and warm weather in the first half of the month, in the second half the weather worsens, the temperature drops;
• in September: golden autumn, snowy peaks, northern lights, few insects, an ordinary dark night, frosts are possible at night, in the second half of the month the weather is not stable at all, the probability of helicopter sorties is very low.

A helicopter is a type of high—risk air transport. In order to avoid situations that threaten the health and life of passengers, tourists should adhere to certain rules.

If you are waiting for the helicopter to land, you should move away from the landing zone to a safe distance. This is especially true when landing on a sandy or unpaved surface — small particles can get into the eyes and respiratory tract.

During the landing, it is necessary to adhere to the following rules:

• do not make sudden movements, jumps, arm swings and others;
• in any case, do not approach the tail section of the helicopter. A low-mounted screw can cause serious injury. In addition, a thrust can form in this zone that can tighten a person weighing up to 120 kilograms into a screw. Therefore, the car door is approached from the front;
• do not throw garbage in the landing area. If a third-party object is pulled into the turbine, it can cause engine failure. If debris (for example, a cellophane bag) sticks to the propeller blade, this will disrupt aerodynamics, increased vibration and external noise may occur. Because of this, you will have to make an unscheduled landing to check the serviceability of the equipment;
• do not board a helicopter under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It is desirable that passengers board the aircraft under the guidance of a trained specialist.

To ensure safety during the flight, it is not allowed:

• smoking, using gas burners, and performing other actions that may cause a fire. The fuel tanks are located in close proximity to the passenger cabin. The slightest ignition can cause a fire or explosion;
