Weekend on the waters of the Caucasus

Your morning will start with a light breakfast (dry ration) so that you can gain strength before an exciting day.

At 06:30 you will embark on a guided tour to the heart of the Caucasus — to the famous Mount Elbrus.

After three and a half hours of travel, you will find yourself in the Azau glade, from where you will begin your ascent by cable car to an altitude of 3,800 meters (extra charge).

Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe (5,642 m), delights with its majestic glaciers that feed rivers and mineral springs at the foot.

Here you can play snowballs, even if it's summer on the calendar, or go snowmobiling (for an additional fee).

Throughout the entire ascent, you will see breathtaking panoramas of the Caucasian Mountain ranges, and you will literally feel like you are on top of the world.

After descending to the Azau glade, you will have lunch at one of the local cafes (self-pay), where you can enjoy Caucasian cuisine by tasting aromatic dishes prepared according to traditional recipes.

For those who want to experience even more, we offer a chairlift to Mount Cheget (3,700 m) (for an additional fee).

Cheget is famous not only for its ski slopes, but also for its stunning views of the famous Seven Glacier and the sparkling peaks of the Caucasus Range.

From a height, you will enjoy a unique panorama, including Donguz Orun-Kel Lake, which surprises with its palette of colors due to minerals eroded by glaciers.

After descending from the mountain, we recommend stopping at a local cafe to try the famous Chegeti pies — they leave no one indifferent!

You can also take a walk through the souvenir market, where you can buy local handicrafts, including cozy knitwear that will remind you of your trip.

The final part of the program is a visit to the Narzan Glade.

This picturesque park is located along the Baksan River and is famous for its sources of healing mineral water — narzan.

Here you will have the opportunity to taste different types of narzan and get acquainted with the unique flora and fauna of the Elbrus region.

This small corner of nature seems to have been created in order to give a sense of peace and harmony.

Returning to the hotel will fill you with unforgettable impressions, and a day spent surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains will energize you for a long time.

Start the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, followed by a day full of history and impressions.

After breakfast, you will vacate the rooms, and you can leave your belongings in the hotel's luggage room so that nothing interferes with your rest.

The tour of the legendary Pyatigorsk, a city literally steeped in history, begins at 09:00.

This resort has witnessed many events and attracted famous people such as Leo Tolstoy, Sergei Yesenin and Alexander Pushkin.

But, perhaps, Mikhail Lermontov became the main "master" of the city.

During the tour, you will learn about the fate of the great poet and visit his House Museum*, where the atmosphere of the 19th century has been preserved.

We will also visit the site of his famous duel, which left its mark in the history of Russia.

Then you will go for a walk through the famous Tsvetnik Park, a place not only to relax, but also to encounter the past.

The park was designed by talented architects, the Bernardazzi brothers, and their work still adorns Pyatigorsk.

Here you will be greeted by a statue of the hero of the novel "12 Chairs" by Kisa Vorobyaninov, as if he had stepped out of a book, begging from passersby.

And nearby, in the center of the park, you will see the famous Eagle, a symbol not only of Pyatigorsk, but also of all the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters.

The next stop is the Aeolian Harp, from where you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Caucasus Mountain Range.

You will also visit the underground lake Proval, shrouded in legends, and stroll to the unique "Shameless Baths", where the mineral water, rich in natural elements, attracts both locals and tourists who want to plunge into its healing springs.

If the weather permits, you will be offered a cable car ride to the top of Mount Mashuk**.

This exciting adventure will give you panoramic views of the Caucasus, almost 1000 meters above sea level.

Every moment at the top will be a reminder of the greatness of these mountains and the unique nature.

After the tour at 12:30 you will return to Yessentuki, where you will have free time to enjoy the peace and comfort of the resort town.

You may want to take another walk through famous places and drink healing mineral water.

At 15:30, a group transfer will take place to the airport or to the Mineralnye Vody railway station so that you can board your flight on time, full of vivid impressions and pleasant memories of Pyatigorsk.
