  • Day 1 - Sergiev Posad and Pereslavl-Zalessky

    08:45 Meeting of the group in Moscow, Komsomolskaya metro station, Leningradsky railway station building, in the center of the waiting room on the first floor by the elevator (sign "Christmas on the Golden Ring").

    We take a good mood with us and go to Sergiev Posad, an ancient town located 52 km from Moscow.

    The city is famous for its main attraction — the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. 

    A tour of the Lavra with a visit to the temples: Assumption, Dukhovskoy, Refectory. 

    Our fabulous Christmas trip continues in Pereslavl-Zalessky, which stretches on the shore of Pleshcheyev Lake. The city was founded in 1152 by Prince Yuri Dolgoruky. 

    In the XV and XVI centuries, he was obliged to deliver fish to the royal court, which was reflected on the coat of arms of the city. In 1688, Tsar Peter I began the construction of a funny flotilla in Pereslavl-Zalessky, which was successfully completed in 1692.
