Day 1 - Pokrov and Svyato-Vvedenskaya deserts, Suzdal, transfer to Vyksa
07:00 Gathering of the group in Moscow, VDNKh metro station, parking lot to the right of the Kosmos Hotel.
07:15 Departure to Pokrov.
Visit to the Svyato-Vvedenskaya island desert.
This unique monastery, located on an island in the middle of the Vvedensky Lake, was founded by monks at the end of the 17th century and today is a women's monastery.
The inspection program includes:
Vvedensky Cathedral, krasnokirpichny — the main temple of the monastery;
the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the funds for which were once donated by industrialists and philanthropists Morozov.
Departure to Suzdal.
Lunch at a cafe in the city.
The creator of the Golden Ring route, Yuri Bychkov, while in Suzdal, called it "Sweet Museum. The city is unique" and noted with surprise that there are a lot of people here and the city is very popular.
Sightseeing tour of Suzdal. In the program:
Visit to the main attraction of Suzdal — the Suzdal Kremlin with a visit to the Bogoroditse-Rozhdestvensky Cathedral. According to archaeological data, the Suzdal Kremlin has existed since the 10th century. Bogoroditse-Rozhdestvensky Cathedral is one of the few temples of the pre-Mongol period, a rare architectural monument of Vladimir-Suzdal architecture, which has survived to our time.
The Pokrovsky Monastery (from the observation deck) is a women's monastery that holds many secrets. In the 16th century, it served as a place of exile for disgraced tsars and women of noble boyar families.

Day 2 - Diveevo and Arzamas

Departure to Diveevo.
Diveevo is a special place, famous all over the world. This is the fourth lot of the Mother of God on earth, the only place in Russia that is under her special protection.
Guided tour of the Serafimo-Diveevsky Monastery, named after Seraphim of Sarov, who took care of this monastery.
Inspection of existing temples:
Trinity Cathedral: the holy relics of St. Seraphim, the miraculous icon of "Tenderness";
Transfiguration Cathedral: relics of St. Martha of Diveevo, relics of Blessed Paraskeva;
Kazan Church: relics of Saints Alexandra, Martha, and Elena;
The Holy Groove of the Most Holy Theotokos is the greatest Diveevo and universal shrine in the world. The Priest spoke about the grace bestowed by the Holy Groove: "Whoever goes through the Groove with prayer, and reads a hundred and fifty "Theotokos", it's all here: Mount Athos, Jerusalem, and Kiev."
Visit the Diveevo Holy Springs, where you can collect healing water and, if desired, swim in it.
Departure to Arzamas.

Arzamas is a city with a long and glorious history. In the 19th "Golden" century for the city, people spoke about it with special love — "Arzamas is a small town — a corner of Moscow."
Sightseeing tour of Arzamas.
Sightseeing of significant attractions:
Cathedral Square is the heart of Arzamas with a unique 18th—century Town Hall and St. Nicholas Monastery.
The Resurrection Cathedral is a symbol of victory over Napoleon, the main decoration of the city, built in the image and likeness of St. Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg.
Gostiny Ryady, where brisk trade has been conducted since the 17th century, here you could buy everything that was found in Russia.
Sculptures "Arzamas geese". Local geese were particularly passionate, participated in bird fights and often became winners, bringing their owners good earnings.
The upper embankment with preserved noble mansions of the 19th century and much more.

Day 3 - Murom and Vladimir

Departure to Murom.
Murom is the most ancient city of the Vladimir region, it was mentioned in the "Tale of Bygone Years" back in 862! Murom is a city of white—stone monasteries, merchant houses of the 19th century and the birthplace of the epic hero Ilya Muromets.
Murom City Sightseeing Tour:
The Trinity Convent, where the relics of Peter and Fevronia, the patrons of love and marriage, rest;
Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery: miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Skoroposlushnitsa";
Annunciation Monastery: icon of St. Elijah of Murom with a fragment of relics;
The monument to Ilya Muromets is one of the most notable sights of Murom.
Departure to Vladimir.
Lunch at a cafe in the city.
Sightseeing tour of Vladimir, one of the few cities of the Golden Ring, where architectural monuments from before the Mongol—Tatar conquest have been preserved:
Dmitrievsky Cathedral (external inspection);
Golden Gate (external inspection, under restoration);
Assumption Cathedral (visit) is a masterpiece of white stone architecture, where paintings of the XII—XIX centuries, including the famous frescoes of the icon painter Andrei Rublev, have been preserved.
Departure to Moscow.

When self-booking travel documents by Tourists for further travel to their destination (permanent residence), it is necessary to take into account the possible increase in time on the tour. There is no compensation for travel tickets (air, railway) in case of a delay in vehicles during the tour for reasons beyond the control of the Tour Operator/ Travel Agent.

Many thanks to “Big Country” for this wonderful tour. The entire trip was organized exceptionally well: the hotels, meals, and transportation were all excellent. But the real highlight of the journey was our tour guide, Denis!!! Honestly, without him the trip would not have been nearly as memorable. Visiting so many churches and historical sites without meaningful context would have quickly become monotonous. Most of the local guides simply rushed through the program with dry facts and dates, almost like a school lecture. Denis, however, made everything come alive. Even before we arrived at each destination, he was already sharing fascinating stories and background information on the bus, which helped us appreciate the places so much more once we got there. Not a single person was late for the bus in the mornings! Everyone was eager not to miss his stories!!! He has an incredible knowledge of the history and geography of the region, and he could make even the scenery outside the window interesting!!! Listening to him never felt tiring because he spoke with such enthusiasm and passion!!! For the last two days we had a different guide, and the contrast was huge - unfortunately, it just wasn’t engaging at all. To sum it up: excellent organization, comfortable travel conditions, and an outstanding guide like Denis made this trip truly special!!! I only wish there were more professionals like him.

I really enjoyed the trip. I learned a lot more about my country and its history, and visited many historic cities and monasteries. It’s an experience I will remember for a long time.
