This cozy city, in which unique historical and architectural monuments of the past centuries are located on a small square (the city is only 6 km long), is famous for its crafts, of which the most famous is the painting of enamel miniatures.

Excursion program: sightseeing of the architectural ensemble of the Rostov Kremlin.

Visit to the Zhar-Ptitsa craft yard to purchase souvenirs.

Transfer to Yaroslavl, the capital of the Golden Ring of Russia.

Excursion program: sightseeing tour of fabulous winter Yaroslavl.

Volzhskaya embankment, the oldest part – the arrow of the Volga and Kotorosli rivers, a monument to Yaroslav the Wise– the founder of the city.

The Church of St. John the Baptist is called the pinnacle of Yaroslavl temple architecture. It is the only 15-domed temple in Russia.

The facades are decorated with tiles and carved bricks. The temple is depicted on a 1,000-ruble bill dedicated to Yaroslavl.

Visit to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery, where the famous "The Word of Igor's Regiment" was discovered.

Transfer to Kostroma– the birthplace of Ivan Susanin.

Sightseeing tour of Kostroma: the snow-covered city offers entertainment for the Russian winter: folk festivals, round dances, and roller coasters.

We will see a complex of Shopping malls, a central square, a monument to Ivan Susanin, a fire tower, and a gazebo. Ostrovsky and much more!

Visit to the Ipatievsky Monastery– the main attraction of Kostroma, the "cradle" of the Romanov dynasty.

We will explore the picturesque ensemble of the monastery, the Trinity Cathedral, the main temple of the Ipatievsky monastery. Originally wooden, the cathedral was rebuilt in stone in the middle of the 16th century at the expense of the Godunov boyars, which is why it is sometimes called "Godunovsky".

Excursion to Kostroma sloboda with an interactive program "Around the stove".

The hospitable Sloboda hostess will tell her guests about the life, everyday life and traditions of a peasant family. And after that, the guests will do their own housework: they will try to grab the cast iron from the stove, iron the laundry with a "wooden iron" – a ruby, and walk with a rocker.

At the end of the program, tea with gingerbread is served for all guests.

Transfer to Ivanovo, the textile capital of the Golden Ring of Russia.

We are going on an excursion to Suzdal, the museum city, because there are so many monuments of the history of Russia, as well as ancient buildings, unique churches and objects of wooden architecture that have survived to this day in one piece.

Most of the buildings in Suzdal are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. For decades, the ancient city has served as a filming location for many films, such as "The Marriage of Balzaminov", "The Sorcerers", "The Tsar" and others.

Excursion program: sightseeing of the architecture of the majestic Suzdal Kremlin and its pearl – the stunning Christmas Cathedral.

Visit the Museum of Wooden Architecture, a large–scale open-air exhibition located on the banks of the Kamenka River.

Mead tasting: to immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of Suzdal, you need to taste the famous local drinks.

You will visit the tasting room and quench your thirst with native Russian drinks. After the tasting, you will have the opportunity to purchase any of your favorite varieties of mead and please your loved ones with it.

Moving to Vladimir is one of the ancient and majestic cities of the Golden Ring of Russia, located on the high bank of the Klyazma River.

The main asset of the Vladimir land is the most beautiful examples of white stone architecture, included in the UNESCO list.

Transfer to Bogolyubovo.

Bogolyubovo was first mentioned in the chronicles in 1158.

Andrey Bogolyubsky founded the settlement for his residence. There is a legend that it was in this place that the prince saw the apparition of the Virgin Mary, who ordered the founding of a monastery and a city.

Excursion program: The Grand Ducal residence of Andrei Bogolyubsky, the architectural ensemble of the Bogolyubsky Monastery.

Walk to the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl (depending on weather conditions).

Return to Vladimir.

The Golden Gate is a unique monument of military engineering and architectural art of ancient Russia, a symbol of Vladimir and the entire Golden Ring of Russia.
