A trip to the whale shores of the Kola Peninsula

Getting ready for a boat trip: a detailed safety briefing.

We arrive at the pier. 

We go down the steep stairs to the boats. 

Boarding the boats will take place at the old pier at the former fish factory. 

The descent is steep and unsettled, because due to the intense tides, it is not possible to realize a convenient berth in Teriberka. 

The vessels are small small boats with a capacity of up to 10 people. 

The boats are designed primarily for fishing, so there is rust on the ships and not very modern equipment. 

A 3-hour boat trip (individual ship charter). 

We will go out into the open waters of the Barents Sea. 

If we are lucky, we will be able to see whales, dolphins, killer whales and other marine life of the Barents Sea.

We return to Teriberka. 

We continue to get acquainted with the Arctic cuisine at lunch at a local restaurant, try northern goodies.

We continue to explore the territory. 

We will go to the waterfall and the stone beach "dragon eggs". 

If possible, we will visit the old Teriberka and the famous Heavenly Swing.

We return to Murmansk, have dinner at a local restaurant (included in the price).

We check into a 4* hotel. 

Rest, free time.

Important! Whales and other fauna are a natural phenomenon, and no one can guarantee their appearance.

For arrivals in September: if the forecast is favorable, on one of the evenings of the tour, go hunting for the northern lights with a photographer guide.

Breakfast at the hotel, packing, meeting with the guide (early check-out is possible).

We are going to the village of Lovozero (170 km on the way).

Arrival in Lovozero, the beginning of the program. 

We get acquainted with the guide, go through a safety briefing before a boat trip on the lake. Lovozero.

We are going to explore the lake. Lovozero by boat (the length of the route will be 30 km in one direction). 

Along the way, we will enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the Lovozero tundra. 

The guide will tell the story of these mysterious places, we will find out why the Sami revered these lakes as sacred.

Arrival to the southern shore of Lake. Lovozero. 

We are going on a mini-hike for 2.5 km through the pass to the lake. Seydozero. 

During the hike, we will meet the Kuiva rock and hear the mysterious legend about the origin of the Seidyavr — the "lake of mountain spirits".

After lunch (included in the price) we go to the famous Khibiny mountains.

Arrival at the hotel in Kirovsk. Check-in.

Dinner at a local restaurant (included in the price).

Rest, free time.

Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide, departure on a buggy tour.

After selecting the equipment and briefing, we leave in the direction of Lake Maly Vudyavr and Kukisvumchorrsky pass. 

Along the way, we make stops in the most photogenic locations. 

We will examine the snowfields left over from winter avalanches, the Long Lake in front of the pass, the Heart-shaped lake. 

The final point of the route is the shore of Lake Shchuchy in the very north of the Khibiny massif. 

On the way back, we stop at Risjoki waterfall.

The road is unpaved and rocky. Small areas with dirt. Along the way, we will overcome several fords and deep puddles.

We will organize a small picnic on the shore of the lake — with grilled sausages, tea, sandwiches.

We ride sap boards (weather permitting). 

Skiing either on Lake Shchuchye or on Lake Polygonal (in agreement with the participants).

After a picnic and skiing, we return to Kirovsk.

We have dinner in one of the restaurants in Kirovsk (included in the price).

Departure for a panoramic tour to the waterfall on an off-road vehicle. 

The Khibiny mountain range is not very large, but the most interesting and beautiful places are located where you cannot drive a regular car, and you have to walk more than a dozen kilometers.

UAZ and all-terrain buses provide you with a unique opportunity to discover something new in the Khibiny, allowing you to complete a route in a few hours, which pedestrian groups spend several days on.

On the routes, you will hear from us about ancient Sami legends, drive along abandoned geological roads of the 50-70 years of the twentieth century and visit the most attractive places in this region, which can be reached by ATV. 

On the passes and at the mountain lakes, it simply takes your breath away and breaks through an avalanche of emotions from the harsh beauty of the North.

All-terrain tourist buses are specially prepared for comfortable transportation of tourists to hard-to-reach places. 

When driving through safe areas off public roads, tourists are allowed to stay outside the cabin on expedition trunks, from where it is convenient to take photos and videos on the go.

We will also go on a walking trip to the waterfall, a beautiful, truly fabulous place where no equipment will climb.

After the end of the tour, lunch at a local restaurant.

For tourists departing from Murmansk, a group transfer to the city and the airport will be organized free of charge.
