Arctic New Year's holidays under the Northern Lights on the Kola Peninsula

We have breakfast and go to the legendary Teriberka.

We have 130 km to travel, along the way there will be 2 photo stops in picturesque places so that you can enjoy the amazing landscapes of the tundra and take photos as a souvenir.

There's also a New Year's surprise waiting for you along the way, but we won't reveal all the cards.

We will go on a hiking adventure in Teriberka.

You will see a cemetery of abandoned ships, natural scenery for the movie "Leviathan", a throne from "Game of Thrones" and a heavenly swing.

Part of our program will take place on a sleigh (if there is sufficient snow cover).

We will visit the top restaurant in Teriberki to enjoy the flavors of Arctic cuisine.

We have prepared a delicious lunch for you, which is already included in the price of the tour.

After lunch, we will go for a walk to the outlandish Dragon Eggs beach with huge smooth stones resembling the eggs of huge animals.

We will reach the waterfall and admire the expanse and waves of the Barents Sea.

After Teriberka we leave back to Murmansk, the end of the excursions in the city center.

If the weather permits, we will go hunting for the Northern Lights again in the evening. In total, our program includes 2 trips.

Important: 12/31/2025 departure for the "hunt" for the Northern Lights is not provided!

The third day will start with a cozy breakfast at the hotel.

We will meet in the city center and go to the majestic Khibiny Mountains, one of the oldest mountain formations on the planet, which is about 350 million years old.

An exciting snowmobile safari awaits you here (the route length is 23 km, 1.5 – 2 hours on the way).

You will conquer the snow-capped peaks, enjoying the stunning views and the fresh Arctic air.

After an active rest, you will have lunch at a gourmet restaurant where you will taste Arctic cuisine.

The chef will surprise you with unique flavors available only in this region.

Next, we will visit the exhibition of ice sculptures "Snow Village".

Incredible works of art made of ice simply amaze with their detail and beauty.

This exclusive vacation will give you a unique experience that will remain in your memory for a long time.

We will return to Murmansk in the evening, and the tour will end in the city center.

OPTION 1: Sami ethnic village tour with gastronomic master class

The day starts with breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and meet with our guide, who will guide you through all the stages of this eventful day.

If desired, it will be possible to leave your belongings at the hotel until the evening.

We will go to the Sami village, where you will be immersed in the fascinating world of culture and traditions of the indigenous people of the North.

The Sami are a unique people whose customs and way of life are sincerely admired.

In the village you will see traditional kuvaks.

You will meet reindeer— these graceful and good-natured creatures that leave no one indifferent.

You will be able to feed them and learn many interesting stories about how reindeer are intertwined with Sami life.

Then you will be invited to a gastronomic workshop on Sami cuisine.

Each dish is a small journey into the world of traditions and tastes of the North, which will leave you absolutely delighted.

You will discover the secrets of cooking that are passed down from generation to generation, and feel like a part of this amazing culture.

The program ends in the city center.

Today we are going to a legendary place that will delight you with its pristine nature and Sami culture.

In the program of the day:

• Let's get acquainted with the culture, way of life and traditions of the northern Sami people;
• Let's try on traditional Sami costumes;
• Let's get to know the reindeer and treat them to their favorite treats.;
• Let's find out how the Sami people lived in ancient times.;
• Sledding with frisky huskies on the snowy tundra (if there is sufficient snow cover);

We will have a traditional lunch with fish soup on cream, venison and delicious pastries.

After a busy day, we will return to Murmansk, where the program will end in the city center.

But this trip is not just an excursion, but a real story that you will tell your friends and family.
