Itinerary

Day 1 - The road to Teriberka. Graveyard of ships, northern swing, Old Teriberka
Meeting place and time of the group: 09:00 at the Five Corners Square, in the parking lot opposite the Meridian Hotel.
After meeting with all the members of the group, we will immediately hit the road. After driving through the vast expanses of the tundra for about 3 hours, we will find ourselves on the coast of the Barents Sea.
Upon arrival, we will leave our things at the base and drive to the village of Staraya Teriberka. It was here that the film "Leviathan" was shot. The salty sea air and silence will be your constant companions during your walk, and you will definitely feel the amazing magic of this place.
Today we offer you to have lunch at a restaurant on the beach. Nearby, on the sandy beach, there is a huge swing, which offers a beautiful view of the endless ocean.
We will walk back to the base (5 km), along the way we will see the famous Cemetery of ships. This place is a real paradise for romantics, photographers and all those who are not indifferent to the harsh beauty of the northern seas.
Upon returning to the base, we will have dinner and rest, set the table and celebrate our New Year's acquaintance.
Perhaps today, on our very first northern night, we will be lucky to see the Aurora borealis!

Day 2 - Dinosaur Egg Beach, Battery Waterfall
Prepare masks and thermoses!
Today we will go to two iconic landmarks: The Battery waterfall and the beach, which the locals call the beach with dinosaur eggs.
That's because huge boulders of perfect shape evoke associations worthy of Stephen King's books. And, of course, we are waiting for panoramic views of the Arctic Ocean.
And after returning to the base, after dinner, we will wait for the northern lights again.
Accommodation: base.

Day 3 - The road to Murmansk. City tour
Today we are waiting for an early rise, as at 9.00 am we are going back to Murmansk.
In Murmansk, we will visit the monument "Alyosha", which is located in a large memorial park dedicated to the defenders of the Arctic.
Then we will leave our things and have lunch at the hostel.
After lunch, we will go to the port, take a look at the world's first nuclear icebreaker "Lenin", if possible, we will go on an excursion.
For dinner, we will go to the Murmansk restaurant, which serves amazing seafood dishes.
Accommodation: hostel.
Bus: 131 km.
Walking distance: about 5 km.
Meals: breakfast and lunch.

Day 4 - Sami village
After an early breakfast, we will pack our things and leave them at the hostel.
And we will go to the famous Sami village. Here you can pet deer, take selfies with huskies, watch arctic foxes and hand-feed rabbits!
And also ride a banana and a reindeer sled, get acquainted with the indigenous people of the Murmansk region of the Sami, enjoy fish soup from the Sami fish "whitefish" and the national Sami drink "pakula".
There will be an opportunity to take photos in national Samo costumes and purchase souvenirs such as magical amulets, amulets and magnets.
In the evening, returning to Murmansk, we will pick up our things from the hostel and go home. But a piece of this amazing journey will stay with us forever!
Important: due to unpredictable weather, as well as the risk of untimely departure from Teriberka, it is necessary to purchase return tickets or tickets for flights from Murmansk no earlier than 22:00. If possible, the day after the end of the tour.

In Teriberka we live in houses, on the base of "45 berth" on the seashore — on the most recognizable sandy beach.

It's important to know

"There is no bad weather — there is poorly chosen equipment."
In winter, it can be from -10 to -30 in Teriberka, so it is important to take warm clothes with you.

a small 15-20 l backpack for walking;
hoba (elastic band seat);
chemical hand and foot warmers.

Clothing and shoes:

boots for outdoor activities are insulated, and fishing warm lightweight EVA boots have also proven themselves well in the cold;
windproof jacket (possibly ski jacket);
windproof, insulated trousers (possibly overalls);

insulated hat, warm buff;

a set of thermal underwear;
