Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Murmansk — Imandra. Hiking along the Goltsovka mountain river

    We leave Murmansk at 10:12 to the Imandra station by rail on train No. 21.

    Arrival at Imandra station at 12:50.

    From the Imandra station, we will walk along the Goltsovka mountain river to the intersection with the Chasnaok River and make our first overnight stop.

    The height difference is only 200 meters, but even here it is already clear that we are in the mountains.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  1. The base layer is thermal underwear (thin running and warm for sleeping — 2 sets).
  2. The intermediate layer is a fleece jacket, exclude wool (thin fleece jacket for movement / thick for parking).
  3. A membrane jacket or an analog (windbreaker, waterproof).
  4. Pants are windproof or made of a membrane (ideal if the pants are a designer and turn into shorts).
  5. Socks — preferably trekking and/ or other with similar properties (foot retention, moisture removal) — 2-3 pairs.
  6. Shoes — trekking boots, preferably high ones. Please note! Shoes must be worn (not boots).
  7. Rubber slates for the camp (crocs, sandals and other outdoor shoes are also perfect).
  8. Headdress (buff trumpet, bandana, beanie, cap).
  9. Sunglasses, thin light gloves (in case of sunny weather, the most common "working" cotton gloves are suitable).
  10. Tableware: mug, spoon, bowl, flask or water bottle.
  11. Backpack for 70-80 liters.
  12. Personal hygiene products, wet wipes, toiletries.
  13. If desired, you can take trekking poles.
  14. Swimming trunks or a swimsuit — for taking water treatments + a towel (trekking and/or waffle).
  15. Hoba (the nurse).
  16. Sunscreen (30+) and burns (panthenol), lip balm (for example, panthenol for children), individual medications (if prescribed by a doctor), repellent.
  17. The lantern has been used for hiking since the end of July.
  18. An additional battery for the phone.
