Day 1 - Fjords, Kola village and the Valley of Glory Memorial Complex
Arrival in Murmansk, independent check-in at the hotel.
We recommend that you arrive in the city no later than 12:30.
There is a Barents Cafe in the Kosmos Hotel, we recommend you to have a snack before the start of the program, as you will have a busy day.
On the first day, lunch on your own.
At 14:00, the word "fjord" is most often remembered by Norway. But we also have real fjords in the Murmansk region — at least a dozen narrow, winding sea bays extending inland. And one of them is the Kola Bay, the heart of the Arctic, from where our journey will begin.
First, we will go to the ancient village of Kola, founded back in 1565. The temple of Barlaam of Keret (1807) has been preserved here, and the embankment overlooks the famous Kola Bridge, the longest beyond the Arctic Circle. It connects the shores of the main fjord of the Kola Peninsula, into which the Tuloma and Kola rivers flow.
Next, the road will take us to Abram Cape, a place with stunning panoramas of Murmansk. The icebreaker Lenin, the ships of the Atomflot, the silhouettes of the city — all this is clearly visible. Here, under the open sky, you can see rocket launchers and a museum aircraft right on the street.
Through the village of Minkino we will reach Cape Mishukov. There is an unusual lighthouse art object here, which has long become a symbol of these places.
We will take a walk along the old pier, from which you can see the nuclear icebreakers, the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov and the ships of the Northern Fleet.
Our trip will end with an important and very powerful place — the Valley of Glory. Fierce battles took place here during the Great Patriotic War, and that is why the valley was once called the Valley of Death.
Today it is a memorial where the names of thousands of Soviet soldiers are immortalized. Here you can see military equipment, the Grieving Mother monument, as well as letters written by our soldiers right before the battle. It is a place of memory and gratitude that cannot be forgotten.

20:00 In an old Pomeranian house with a beautiful view of the Kola Bay, you will taste freshly caught seafood delicacies, learn about the Pomeranian way of life and learn how to carve shellfish.
The dinner includes: Kamchatka crab, sea urchins, scallop, 5 types of dried and smoked fish, cod liver, boiled potatoes, fragrant ear, freshly baked bread, tea from a samovar with cloudberry jam. Cost: 6500 rubles.

Day 2 - Teriberka. Going to sea
Breakfast at the hotel is a buffet (when choosing a rate with accommodation).
≈ 08:30 Departure for the program. A complete reboot awaits you on this very busy day! You will truly feel the breath of the Arctic, cross several natural zones and admire the fascinating views of the tundra.
On the way to Teriberka, we will make several iconic stops:
Let's admire the power of the Kola wind farm. 57 huge wind power plants have been installed here in the middle of the endless tundra of the Kola Peninsula.
A high hill with seids. The landscapes here are unique and amazing. In front of you, the tundra is in the palm of your hand, you can't see the edge. We will see seids – structures made of stones, built by the Sami, as a rule, in sacred places. And you must make a wish!
In Teriberka itself, you will find unique natural attractions, art objects and scenery from the filming of films and TV series.
During the tour you will learn the history of the Teriberka settlement, see the present of the village and its future! You will see a beautiful waterfall that carries its stormy waters directly into the ocean, the purest lake. Take a walk along the beach of stone dragon eggs — you will feel the real breath of the Arctic. You will see the cemetery of old wooden ships and the skeleton of a sperm whale. Take a walk along the beautiful Teriberki Bay. A stunning sandy beach and a beached fishing boat, a throne, a swing and other objects.

Whales and killer whales come to the coast of the Kola Peninsula after herring, capelin and cod.7 We will see the beauty of Teriberka from the sea, visit several bays of the Barents Sea, enjoy the views of sea rocks and reefs, and see various marine animals.
The small tabby or northern small tabby has a length of up to 10 meters and a weight of up to 10 tons. The color is dark gray above, the belly and pectoral fins are white below, a white or light stripe on the pectoral fins, light stripes behind the head. They stay alone or in small groups of 2-3 individuals, sometimes forming large groups in places where fish congregate. They can stay under water for up to 20 minutes.
The humpback whale is a fairly large whale. Body length up to 15 meters, weight up to 30 tons. The pectoral fins are very long (up to 35% of the body length). The color of the back and sides is black or dark gray, sometimes with a brown tinge. The color of the chest and belly varies from black or mottled (with white spots) to completely white. Humpback whales often beat and slap on the surface of the sea with their long pectoral fins and caudal fin, whipping up foam, rolling on their backs, exposing their muzzles from the water. They often completely jump out of the water in an upright position and fall down with a deafening splash. They can stay under water for up to 30 minutes. On the surface, a humpback whale releases fountains up to 5 meters high.

Day 3 - Sightseeing tour of Murmansk. Nuclear icebreaker "Lenin"

09:00 Departure for the program. The largest city in the Arctic Circle, the base of the icebreaking fleet, the hero city, the sea gate of the Arctic.
Murmansk was founded only in 1916 and cannot boast of a large number of historical attractions. But still, it is an interesting and distinctive region, attracting the splendor of the harsh northern landscapes. There are many key moments in the history of the state associated with the city, so the city is interesting both aesthetically and historically.
On the sightseeing tour you will visit the main attractions:
Memorial to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic ("Alyosha"). This monument is one of the main business cards of Murmansk. The monument "Alyosha" towers over the city, recalling the heroic past of the defenders of the Arctic during the Great Patriotic War. From the height there is a magnificent view of the city and the Kola Bay.
The lighthouse is a memorial to the sailors who died in peacetime, with a real fragment of the Kursk submarine cabin installed on its territory, recalling the tragic events and the courage of those who devoted their lives to the sea. There is a ship's anchor nearby.
The Church of the Savior on Waters. Built in honor of the sailors who fell at sea, this temple is a beautiful and peaceful place for prayer and reflection. A Naval cathedral is being built nearby, which will become the new dominant of the city, symbolizing the spiritual rebirth of the region.
Monument to those who know how to Wait. This touching monument depicts a woman waiting for her sailor to return. The sculpture embodies loyalty and hope, reminding everyone of the importance of love and devotion. This place has become a symbol of the expectation and patience inherent in all those who live in the North.
An observation deck overlooking the Kola Bay. If you want to enjoy panoramic views of the city, the Kola Bay and the Barents Sea, be sure to visit the observation deck.
Visit the nuclear icebreaker Lenin.
The legendary giant ship with a nuclear installation, which had no analogues in the world before, was developed in the USSR in the 50s of the last century. It was used to provide navigation along the Northern Sea Route. Since 1989, the icebreaker, which has served for 30 years, has been permanently berthed in the seaport of Murmansk.
During the tour you will see the engine room, the mess hall, the canteen, the medical unit and other rooms.
A hearty lunch at a cafe in the city and transfer to the hotel and airport.

It's important to know

Rains in May are a frequent occurrence. If you're unlucky with the weather, it could be sleet. Therefore, an umbrella is useful in Murmansk, and a raincoat is useful when traveling. You can't do without an umbrella either on the coast of the Barents Sea or somewhere in Kirovsk. It's always windy in the Murmansk region, and it literally tears him out of his hands.

Since it is better not to count on southern warmth in Murmansk either for the May holidays or at the end of the month, it is better to take more warm clothes.

The main thing you need to have is a waterproof hooded jacket and rubber boots. Without the latter, you can't get to, for example, the Battery Waterfall in Teriberka (it depends on the weather, of course, take more warm clothes, a scarf, mittens, a hat, you'd rather leave them in transport in good weather than freeze in strong winds).

That's the most important thing to pay attention to.:

You will need a good windproof hooded jacket and ideally a waterproof one.
If you do not have a waterproof jacket, be sure to take a raincoat, as the umbrella will not withstand the north wind and will take up your time and hands.
A scarf and a hat will never be superfluous, especially at sea!
It is mandatory to have warm, preferably woolen, socks; gloves.
From the beginning of the May to June holidays, you will need waterproof shoes or take rubber boots, you will thank us when you walk to the Battery Waterfall in Teriberka.
Preferably: a complete set of thermal underwear (top and bottom) (the presence of this set will make the trip more comfortable and enjoyable).
Fleece jacket.
Take extra batteries for your camera, phone, or video camera, as they drain very quickly in the cold.
A personal first-aid kit with medicines for colds and fever, headache, stomach, as well as individual medicines if you take something regularly.

The weather is unpredictable in summer. It can be fresh or very hot on the contrary. Be sure to check the weather forecast before traveling, but remember – the weather is unpredictable in the north, and you can expect both sunshine and snowstorms during the day.

Arrival and departure recommendations: on the first day, you must arrive no later than 12:30; departure from Murmansk no earlier than 18:00. Distances: airport — Cosmos Hotel 35 km, Murmansk — Teriberka 140 km, Murmansk — Waterfalls 85 km.
Most of the Murmansk Region lies beyond the Arctic Circle. The territory occupies three peninsulas — Kola, Rybachy and Sredny, washed by the Barents and White Seas. It also includes a number of islands: Ainu, Seven, Veliky and Kildin. The region borders Finland and Norway to the west, Karelia to the south, and the Arkhangelsk Region across the White Sea.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that this is a trip to the wild. We cannot guarantee a 100% chance of encountering whales, but we can say for sure that a boat trip to Teriberka is an enjoyment of rocky shores, a picturesque waterfall and the "shore of dragon eggs", and the Pomorsky House is one of the top 100 places to eat in Russia.
When boarding a boat, it is mandatory to have a passport or a certified copy with you, and birth certificates for children, since border control is in place at sea. You will not be allowed on board without documents, in which case the cost of the trip will not be refunded.
Please note! A very steep descent from the pier is possible in Teriberka! We may have to go down a steep flight of stairs. All berths in Teriberka were equipped for fishing and corresponding boats, taking into account strong tides.
We kindly ask you to arrive in Murmansk: the first day before 12:30, take a return flight no earlier than 18:00.

The Pomeranian meal is held when recruiting a group of 18 people or more (Several groups unite in the Pomeranian House, a maximum of 35 people.). It is necessary to sign up for a meal when booking a tour and at least 14 days before the start of the trip. 7 3-5 days before the start of the trip, a group chat is formed in Telegram, where the contact phone number of your guide will be indicated, as well as the exact route timing.
We remind you! Check—in at the hotel is possible only if you have an identity document (passport, birth certificate for children).
Please note that all accommodation facilities have "check-out time" rules (check-in at 15.00, check-out before 12.00). You can get from the airport to the hotel by bus or taxi. The most convenient way to get from point A to point B is by Yandex Taxi. This app is available for Android and for iOS. We recommend choosing the comfort class, because in the economy version there are far from the most presentable cars. A taxi around the city in a good car costs from 190 rubles, so it's convenient and fast. The average taxi fare from the airport is 700-1700 rubles, depending on the weather and the class of the car. Estimated travel time is 45-60 minutes. Bus number 106 can be reached in an hour. The interval for public transport is 20-30 minutes, and the bus runs even after midnight. To find a bus stop at the exit from the arrivals area of the airport terminal, head to the left, along the parking lot, 100 meters, there is a stop and a sign with an up-to-date schedule. The cost is approximately 90 rubles, the bus stops next to the Kosmos (Knipovich) hotel.
