Journey along the Kola: from the Barents to the White Sea

A journey through the tundra to the ocean.

The trip to Teriberka will take about 2.5 hours in one direction.

Along the way you will see the amazing expanses of the northern tundra.

We will make several stops for photography to capture the beauty of the northern landscapes. The guide will tell you interesting facts about this amazing region.

The cemetery of abandoned ships.

Teriberka is an ancient fishing village based on fishing. The cemetery of ships serves as an eloquent witness to the past, where the carcasses of ships rest forever on the shoal of the Teribersk Bay.

Teriberka Nature Park.

The Teriberka Nature Park is located on an area of several thousand hectares, where valuable natural objects are protected.

The main places we will visit include the Battery Waterfall, where water flows from the Small Battery Lake, and Dragon Eggs Beach, an ideal place for atmospheric photographs.

Lunch with a view of the beauty of Teriberka (included in the price of the tour).

The tour includes a multi-course set lunch: chicken soup or fish soup with tender fillet of sea fish, a choice of meat or fish dish with a side dish, mors made from fresh northern berries.

Important! For reasons beyond the control of the company, lunch may be canceled.

The most long-awaited thing: we are going to explore the expanses of the Barents Sea.

An exciting sea voyage across the Barents Sea awaits you. During the trip, we will be able to observe the noisy bird markets and enjoy the breathtaking views of the sheer cliffs stretching into the depths of the seabed, as well as the vast expanses of the Barents Sea.

The main highlight of the walk will be the unique opportunity to see whales, killer whales and other marine life! The appearance of these animals depends on many factors, including the weather, but we are counting on luck and success!

If sailing is impossible due to weather conditions, the tour program will be adjusted and the cost recalculated.

After a busy day in Teriberka, we return to Murmansk.

Transfer to Kirovsk, the heart of Khibiny.

The passes and mountain lakes simply take your breath away and make you feel an avalanche of emotions from the harsh beauty of the North. Khibiny is the largest mountain range on the Kola Peninsula and one of the most interesting in its mineralogy in the world.

An ethnic village.

In the program:

• stories and legends about the indigenous peoples of the Far North at the burning hearth;
• Active games: lasso throwing, archery, Sami football;
• unique Sami objects and artifacts;
• feeding reindeer and huskies with the ability to take photos and videos.

The next point of our trip will be the city of Kirovsk, surrounded by a mountain range of majestic Khibiny mountains.

Apatit Museum and Exhibition Center.

The building of the IEC with a clock tower is the architectural dominant of the polar city of Kirovsk. The museum is located in the central square of the city and has a collection of minerals, detailed models of mining operations, multimedia exhibitions and digital exhibits.

In April, visit the Snow Village.

The Snow Village Sightseeing and tourist center is a unique project, snow and ice are unusual materials, but they allow you to create figures and images that are incredible in their beauty.

From May to June, visit the Polar Alpine Botanical Garden Institute.

The most vivid impressions can be obtained when you take a few steps from the harsh northern nature of the Murmansk region and enter the tropics, where you are greeted by powerful, unusual and amazingly beautiful palm trees, ficuses, agaves, cacti, euphorbias, cicadas and many other plants of diverse beauty.

Floating in the White Sea is a unique experience that allows you to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the northern nature.

You will have the opportunity to take beautiful keepsake photos!

We are going to the place where the floating starts. This may be one of the picturesque bays of the White Sea, where the water is calm and safe for swimming.

We will conduct a safety briefing and preparation for floating.

We are starting the floating.

Relaxing on the surface of the water and enjoying the surrounding scenery. This is a great opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in a meditative state.

During the floating, you can observe seabirds and maybe even see marine life such as seals.

Let's go back to the shore and warm up with a hot drink. Let's discuss our impressions with other participants.
