More than a Teriberka. Liinahamari and the German Peninsula

The tour is conducted individually upon request.

Tired of the hustle and bustle of the city? Then we invite you to take a trip to one of the most amazing places in the north of Russia — the Kola Peninsula.

On this tour, you will be able to experience the frosty freshness of the Barents Sea, ride a sleigh, stroll along the old Teriberka and admire the beauty of the German Peninsula, where the sea washes the shore with a sandy beach-"bounty", and overhead at night you can see the northern Lights.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Liinahamari. The German Peninsula

It is better to plan your arrival in Murmansk the day before.

Departure from Murmansk at 09:00, departure to Liinakhamari village (approximately 2 hours on the way). The transfer is included in the price if you arrive in the morning.

On the way, we will stop at the Titovka cafe for delicious fish and cloudberry pies (not included in the price).

At the entrance to the village, we will see a monument – the prow of a warship protruding from the rock, which was erected in honor of the anniversary of the liberation of Liinahamari.

The memorial sign symbolizes the feat of the boat sailors who stormed the fortified Liinahamari water fortress in October 1944.

In Liinahamari, we will see Devkin's Harbor, where life once boomed, and visit the famous "circles" – artillery positions for placing huge guns that were never installed here.

It was planned to build a real underground city here. Some of the caves-underground passages are well preserved.

We will transfer to a sleigh for a snowmobile and go to the German Peninsula.

The path lies through the tundra and the coastline consisting of fairly steep hills. Finally, we will see the sea and the peninsula itself!

We will stay in cozy cabins and go on a tour of the peninsula.

At night, with a favorable forecast, you can observe the northern lights here.

    Dinner, rest.
