Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Welcome dinner. Hunting for the Northern Lights
Arrival in Murmansk.
A group transfer will be arranged for guests arriving on recommended flights (for more information, see "Important to Know"). If guests arrive on other flights, a transfer can be arranged for an additional fee.
Check-in at the Azimut 4* hotel. Deluxe rooms.
Welcome dinner with seafood and Arctic cuisine at a restaurant in Murmansk. Getting to know the participants of our tour. Dinner is included in the price of the tour.
Organized group trip to the Northern Lights hunting tour under favorable weather conditions.
How the Northern Lights tour is going:
Estimated start time: 21:00. The exact time and place of the collection will be informed by your personal coordinator of the care department.
Let's go on tour! The duration of the hunt is 3-5 hours, depending on how quickly we find the starry sky. The most northern lights can appear at any moment!
Photography is included in the price of the tour. First we will take group photos, then individual ones.
To keep warm, you will be offered hot tea with light snacks (sweets, chocolate, cookies). During the tour, the guide will tell you about the nature of the northern lights, and how it happens.
After the tour, we return to the hotel. Approximate time: 00:00-02:00 at night.
You will receive photos after January 10 2024 in format of a link to Google Drive or Yandex Disk.

Day 2 - An ethnic village. Lapland Village Glamping
Breakfast at the Azimut hotel, collecting things, check out of the hotel. The exact time will be announced by the organizer the day before.
We are going to an ethnic village, where we will immerse ourselves in the culture and traditions of the Sami people, get acquainted with reindeer, take photos and videos.
Lunch and cooking class on the territory of an ethnic village.
We are going to the Lapland Village recreation center. The journey time is approximately 20 minutes.
Check-in at the glampings. Accommodation for 2 people.
A visit to the sauna on the territory of the complex.
Dinner at the dome restaurant.
Free time, rest.
On December 31, 2023, we will have a New Year's banquet in the dome restaurant on the territory of the complex.
There is no plan to go hunting for the Northern Lights on December 31.

Day 3 - A journey to the ends of the earth. Teriberka
Early breakfast in the dome restaurant of the complex. The preliminary time is 08:00.
We are going to the legendary village of Teriberka. The duration of the journey, including stops, will be approximately 3 hours.
Along the way, we will make two stops in picturesque places to observe the fantastic landscapes of the Arctic tundra, enjoy the magnificent expanses of the endless North.
Arrival in Teriberka, the eternal parking lot of abandoned fishing ships ("graveyard of ships").
If there is sufficient snow cover, we will go to the coast of the Barents Sea with large stones ("dragon eggs") and a frozen waterfall on a sled behind a snowmobile. The duration of the tour is approximately 1 hour.
At each location, you will have enough time to take beautiful photos at the edge of the earth.
Return to the village. We are going to a local restaurant for lunch. Rest.
After lunch, we head back to our glamping "Lapland village".
Dinner on site. Rest.
Under favorable weather conditions, we go on a tour to hunt for the northern lights.

Day 4 - Ancient Khibiny. Snowmobile Safari
Early breakfast in the dome restaurant of the complex. The preliminary time is 09:00. Collecting things, check-out. We will spend the next night at another hotel.
Departure to the city of Kirovsk (Khibiny). The approximate travel time is 2.5 hours.
Visit to the indoor maze "Snow Village".
Climb to the top of the Big Wood ski complex. Lunch at the panoramic restaurant "Plateau".
If the weather is favorable, we will have free time to take photos and relax on the top of the mountain.
Check-in program on 30.12–03.01:
18:00-22:00: snowmobile safari 4 hours. 2 people on a snowmobile. The route is for 4 hours. The equipment is included in the price of the tour. An open-air picnic will be organized on the route. With favorable weather and solar activity, we will have the opportunity to observe the northern lights.
Return to Kirovsk. We are going to the hotel in Kirovsk. Check-in, rest.
Check-in program 02.01–06.01:
14:00-18:00: snowmobile safari 4 hours. 2 people on a snowmobile. The route is for 4 hours. The equipment is included in the price of the tour.
Return to Murmansk, overnight at the Azimut Hotel.
Under favorable weather conditions, we go on a tour to hunt for the northern lights.

Day 5 - Magical Huskies and the Lesnaya Elan Ethnopark
Breakfast at the hotel (in Kirovsk / Murmansk) (continental buffet), packing, check-out.
Departure to the ethnic Husky park (2.5 hours on the way).
Sledding with huskies for a distance of up to 5 kilometers (the distance is divided into all group members). Other participants are simultaneously riding a sled behind a snowmobile.
Lunch at a local authentic cafe. Lunch includes salmon soup and venison with a side dish. Venison can be replaced with another dish by prior agreement.
A walk through the kennel, where you will have the opportunity to chat and play with charming huskies.
Visit the souvenir kiosk where you can buy souvenirs.
Completion of the program, return to Murmansk to the Azimut hotel.
A group transfer will be arranged for guests departing on recommended flights (for more information, see "Important to Know").
If guests are departing on other flights, a transfer can be arranged for an additional fee.

Offering a restaurant, Azimut Hotel is located in the center of Murmansk, right next to the Central Park and a 5-minute walk from the Central Stadium.

The rooms are decorated in bright colors and feature a minibar and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Blackout curtains are also provided. Each room has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries.

At Azimut Hotel you will find a 24-hour front desk and a bar. The hotel also offers conference rooms, a tour desk and luggage storage.

Murmansk Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. Murmansk International Airport is 32 km away.

This year, I finally fulfilled a dream of visiting the Arctic Circle! A friend and I chose a summer trip to the North: 'Whales, Teriberka and Waterfalls.' We booked through the tour operator 'Big Country' and were really pleased with the experience. In just four days, we collected so many incredible memories: we saw stunning waterfalls, learned fascinating facts about the unique tundra landscape, went on a whale-watching boat ride, took amazing photos at Dragon Egg Beach, visited an indigenous Sami house and enjoyed delicious traditional dishes. We were thrilled with the trip! Special thanks to our guide Victor, who shared so many interesting stories, answered all our questions and led the tour with real passion! We stayed at the Azimut Hotel, which was great. Everything was well-organized with no issues at all—I loved it all!
