Itinerary

Day 1 - Murmansk — Musta-Tunturi Ridge — Sredny Peninsula
The gathering of the group in Murmansk at the Azimut hotel, the start of the program in the morning.
You can arrive the day before the start of the tour to go on a rested trip.
Visit to the famous memorial complex "Valley of Glory" in honor of the soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War in the battles for the Kola land.
Visit to the reconstructed German fortification.
Arrival in Staraya Titovka, where we will stop at a cafe for a small snack.
We leave on a dirt road to the Sredny Peninsula.
Along the way, we will make stops at the waterfall and in places with views of the Sredny and Rybachy peninsulas.
Field lunch on the route.
Musta-Tunturi (translated into Russian as "Black Mountain").
There were serious battles between Soviet and German troops in this place. We will also visit the museum of a local resident who collects artifacts from the wartime.
We leave for the Sredny Peninsula: we visit the Coast of Red Stones, the Two Brothers rock.
We are going to the recreation center "Bolshoe Ozyorko".

Day 2 - Rybachy Peninsula — Vida Guba
Breakfast at the recreation center.
Today we will devote ourselves entirely to the Rybachy Peninsula and visit the northernmost mainland point of Russia, for which many people visit this location.
Visit to the village of Vida Guba — the northernmost on the Russian mainland.
A visit to Cape German.
Walk for 2 hours.
Free time.
A walk along the coast of the Arctic Ocean at the very edge of the world.
Visit Cape Kekursky.
Visit to the abandoned village of Skorobeevka.
Our guide will tell you the history of these places, and how the local inhabitants lived.
After a busy day on the peninsula, we head back to the recreation center.
Dinner, rest, free time.

Day 3 - Bolshoe Ozerko — Murmansk
Breakfast at the recreation center.
Inspection of an abandoned settlement (former military garrison) A large Lake.
We are moving towards Murmansk.
Field lunch on the route.
The off-road trip will take about 6 hours.
Return to Murmansk no earlier than 20:00.
Tickets for the return flight from Murmansk can be booked no earlier than 23:00, or the next day.

The tour involves accommodation at the recreation center "Bolshoe Ozerko" in small wooden houses for 2-3-4 people, shower and toilet are located in a separate building. There is a connection provided.

You should understand that Rybachy is a remote place where accommodation at the base and minimal communications are a great benefit.

The tourist base of the Bolshoe Ozerko Bay is located on the very edge of the earth, the amazing Rybachy peninsula of the Murmansk region.

The Bolshoe Ozerko Bay on Rybachy is a place for those who want to relax on the Edge of the earth, to be alone with the picturesque nature of the northernmost tip of the North-West of Russia.

There are six guest houses for tourists (wooden cottages assembled using Finnish technology, with a capacity of 2-5 people).

Cabins: all rooms have a separate entrance from the street. The house has a stove (heated with firewood), single-tier and bunk beds, a table and benches.

Washbasins, shower, toilet are located in a separate room.

This year, I finally fulfilled a dream of visiting the Arctic Circle! A friend and I chose a summer trip to the North: 'Whales, Teriberka and Waterfalls.' We booked through the tour operator 'Big Country' and were really pleased with the experience. In just four days, we collected so many incredible memories: we saw stunning waterfalls, learned fascinating facts about the unique tundra landscape, went on a whale-watching boat ride, took amazing photos at Dragon Egg Beach, visited an indigenous Sami house and enjoyed delicious traditional dishes. We were thrilled with the trip! Special thanks to our guide Victor, who shared so many interesting stories, answered all our questions and led the tour with real passion! We stayed at the Azimut Hotel, which was great. Everything was well-organized with no issues at all—I loved it all!
