Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Murmansk. Northern Lights hunting trip
You arrive in the hero city of Murmansk by air or railway transport.
We recommend that you arrive before 16:00 so that you have time to get to the hotel and check in.
A transfer will be carried out from the airport / railway station to your residential address (included in the price).
Check-in at the hotel according to international standards starts at 14:00.
Check-in time at the hotel can be changed/ different, in case of postponement of check-in time, things can be left in the luggage room.
Free time.
We're going hunting for the Northern Lights.
Important! Departure is carried out according to favorable forecasts, in the absence of minimal chances, departure can be canceled and postponed to the next day.
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and no one can guarantee its appearance.
Gathering of the group at the Meridian Hotel. The guide will inform you about the exact time the day before. Please do not be late and always stay in touch, as the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and check–out times may change.
Hunting can take several hours, we kindly ask you to take care of warm clothes and shoes in advance!
Taking photos during the aurora is included in the price. During shooting, you must carefully listen to the guide, observe safety precautions, and turn off the flash on the cameras.
Important! The photographer guide takes several general group shots after each participant's photo. If the flash duration allows, you can take a few additional pictures.
We are returning to Murmansk, to the starting point. The next day will be no less fabulous.

Day 2 - Teriberka or Kirovsk (in case of closure of the road to Teriberka)
Gathering of the group in Teriberka.
The guide will inform you of the departure time the day before, the approximate departure time is 08:00 (time may vary, depending on weather conditions).
We will meet in the lobby of the Meridian Hotel, 5/23 Vorovsky St., Five Corners Square, Murmansk.
On this day, the program includes:
Crossing the endless tundra towards the ocean. The trip to Teriberka will take about 2.5 hours in one direction.
The cemetery of abandoned ships.
A boat trip in search of wonders.
Lunch with a view of the ocean and the enchanting beauty of Teriberka (self-paid).
Important! For reasons beyond the control of the company, lunch may be canceled.
Teriberka Nature Park.
Among the main places included in the park, we will visit the Battery Waterfall and dragon Eggs beach.
During the snowy winter, when you can't get to Dragon Eggs Beach, Battery Falls and other natural attractions on foot, we'll use a snowmobile sled.
A sandy beach and unity with nature. You can ride on the northernmost swing and take photos overlooking the ocean.
We say goodbye to Teriberka and the ocean.
Please note! The road to Teriberka may be closed in winter due to weather conditions, we do not risk your safety.
In this case, the trip will be changed to another destination — Kirovsk (alternative program of the day):
Gathering of the group in Kirovsk.
The guide will inform you of the departure time the day before, the approximate departure time is 08:00 (time may vary, depending on weather conditions).
We arrive in Kirovsk.
Sightseeing tour of the city.
Apatit Museum and Exhibition Center.
Lunch at the restaurant (self-paid).
The snow village.
Polar Alpine Botanical Garden Institute (if the snow village is closed).
Return to Murmansk.

Day 3 - Getting to know Murmansk and the ethnographic program
Gathering a group for a sightseeing tour. The guide will inform you of the departure time the day before.
We will meet in the lobby of the Meridian Hotel, 5/23 Vorovsky St., Five Corners Square, Murmansk.
We are going on a sightseeing tour of the hero city of Murmansk.
The first point of the tour will be the Marine Station and the nuclear icebreaker Lenin (external inspection, guided tour if tickets are available).
The next point of the tour will be the Green Cape Hill and the Memorial to the "Defenders of the Soviet Arctic", popularly known as "Alyosha".
There is a monument "Waiting" not far from the defender of the Arctic.
We are going to an active recreation park for an ethnographic program:
Visit to the animal park (husky dogs and reindeer);
Getting to know the shaman;
The Northern All-around and the Shaman's Plague:
throwing (wooden) axes;
northern football (in national skirts, and the ball is stuffed with cloth, which complicates the game);
Tug of war (the game continues as long as the first player continues to hold the stick in his hands);
driving:
reindeer sledding 500 meters;
banana riding behind a snowmobile 500 meters.
Please note! If there is no snow cover, there will be a replacement for riding an ATV (riding time is 15 minutes).

The organization of the tour was excellent. However, there was one downside: on the last day, the departure was scheduled for seven in the morning, and the group had to leave without breakfast. This isn’t our first trip, and in similar situations, we’ve usually been provided with packed meals. Unfortunately, this time that didn’t happen, and the hotel breakfast also starts at seven.
