Catamaran rafting on the Tumcha River

Air and railway tickets are not included in the price of the tour. You can purchase them yourself or contact us for help.

By train.

To get by train for rafting on the Tumcha River, you need to buy tickets to Kandalaksha with arrival in the morning (train 016A "Arctic" arrives at 6:50). 

Return tickets should also be taken from Kandalaksha for the evening or night (starting at 20:00). Train 099A and train 265B are recommended for evening departure.

By car.

It is worth getting to Kandalakshi — this is the place of the beginning and the end of the rafting. 

We will meet at the railway station in the morning on the day of the start of the rafting. 

You can park your car in a secure parking lot. The distance from Moscow to Kandalaksha is 1700 km, from St. Petersburg 1100 km. 

We advise you to arrive in the evening before the start of the tour and stay overnight in one of the hotels in order to go rafting on the Tumcha River with fresh energy.

For foreign citizens, a pass to the border zone is required.

It takes at least 60 days to complete, and therefore it is necessary to submit an application and documents for participation in the tour no later than this period.

If you are a citizen of the Russian Federation, you need to fill out everything that is indicated in the clarifying form that the manager will send you.

We recommend that you follow our recommendations for collecting things and do not take anything extra, as it will not be possible to leave extra things for storage during the tour.

There are a lot of fish in the river, most often pike, perch, trout, grayling, trout. Fishing in the Tumcha River is allowed.

The weather on the Kola Peninsula is harsh, the water temperature in the river usually does not warm up above +15 degrees. 

The warmest time is from mid—July to mid-August. 

During the day, the temperature can be from +10 to +20 degrees, at night — from +5 to +12.

The Tumcha River is located beyond the Arctic Circle. 

On the route you will see the unique nature of the north: powerful rapids, cliffs, pine forests, sandy beaches, clean water. 

The Iovskoye reservoir, which you will cross by boat, will amaze with its beauty.

In July, the first mushrooms appear, and cloudberries, blueberries, blueberries and lingonberries ripen in early August. Mushrooms have been plentiful since mid-August.
