Catamaran rafting on the Tumcha River

Rafting is for extreme athletes, for those who want to learn the technique of water tourism, improve their skills or just feel the drive from passing numerous powerful thresholds.

The route passes along two rivers Tuntsayoki and Tumcha on the Kola Peninsula, which is located in the Murmansk region, which means that stunning views of northern nature, rocks and pines, clean water, stormy rapids and waterfalls are provided for you.

For groups of 12 people or more, it is possible to conduct a tour on any date.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - The beginning of rafting on the Tuntsayoki — Tumcha river, 3 rapids

    06:45 Meeting of the group at the railway station of Kandalakshi. 

    Transfer to the starting point of the rafting – village. Alakurti, the bank of the Tuntsayoki River (120 km).

    Acquaintance, assembly of alloy equipment and equipment.

    Briefing, lunch.

    Access to the water.

    Rafting on the Tuntsayoki — Tumcha river: "Vodopadny-1" 2 k.s. — "Vodopadny-2" 2 k.s. — "Krivoy" 3 k.s. (13 km).

    Dinner, overnight in tents.

  • Day 2 - Continuation of rafting on the Tuntsayoki – Tumcha river, 7 rapids
  • Day 3 - Continuation of rafting on the Tuntsayoki – Tumcha river, 5 rapids
  • Day 4 - A day's rest. Recreation, fishing

The surcharge for single accommodation in a tent is 1,000 rubles/tour.

Personal equipment you need for the tour

A set of clothes for the alloy:

  • sneakers/sandals (closed toes and fixed heel) or neoprene boots;
  • shorts;
  • thermal underwear;
  • water-repellent pants and jacket;
  • raincoat;
  • headdress (cap, bandana, panama hat);
  • sunglasses;
  • gloves.

A replacement set of clothes after the alloy:

  • sneakers/boots;
  • rubber boots (optional);
  • socks;
  • lingerie;
  • T-shirt;
  • long sleeve shirt;
  • sweater;
  • tight pants (jeans);
  • the jacket is warm.

 A set of clothes for sleeping:

  • thermal underwear;
  • socks made of natural materials;
  • wool socks;
  • sports pants;
  • sweater;
  • sports hat (optional);
  • lingerie.

Additionally, take on the alloy:

  • toiletries and bath accessories;
  • swimsuit, swimming trunks;
  • fishing gear;
  • ointment or insect spray;
  • sun cream;
  • KLMN - Mug, spoon, bowl, knife;
  • personal hygiene items;
  • needle, thread;
  • matches and a lighter in a bag;
  • replacement contact lenses/glasses;
  • flashlight (in August);
  • camera and batteries for it;
  • personal equipment (tent, sleeping bag, mat). If you don't have your own equipment, you can rent it from us.We recommend taking a personal sleeping bag, due to hygiene reasons;
  • documents in sealed packaging: passport, medical insurance policy;
  • personal first aid kit (medications. which you take all the time).
