If you start your journey from the Kandalakshi railway station, then we will meet you and together we will reach Nizhny Kandalakshi, a place called "Japan" by locals.
Here, at the mouth of the Niva River, we collect equipment and conduct safety training when on the water.

We walk 4 km to our first stop.
We will go ashore at Cape Guba Maly Pitkul. The Babylon stone maze is located here. Its age reaches 4000 years.
There are two opinions about its purpose. First, primitive man used it as a trap for catching fish at low tide. Secondly, religious ceremonies were held here.
We, in turn, having performed our rituals, move on.
Our way lies to the island group of the Kandalaksha Nature Reserve.
Incredibly beautiful islands of Anisimov, Gorely, Voroniy. Even from the water in these places, centuries-old coniferous trees are clearly visible.
If we are lucky, we will be able to see moose and bears.
After lunch, enjoying the pristine silence of nature, we go to the parking lot, to the foot of Malaya Kurtyazhnaya Mountain.
We'll set up camp, have dinner, share our impressions, and discuss the day ahead.
