Winter trip to Krasnoshchelye

Breakfast.

After breakfast, a tour of the surroundings of the village with a visit to the local history corner of Krasnoshchelskaya secondary school, the village library and the Vazhya Olom museum.

Lunch at 14:00 from the national northern dishes.

After lunch, preparation for the bath.

Those who wish can take part in chopping firewood for kindling the stove and bringing water from the hole of the bathhouse on a snowmobile.

While the sauna is being heated, we will hold national competitions – lasso throwing, sled jumping;

Photographing in the plague in national clothes with tea from a samovar on coals.

Then a hot bath with birch and juniper brooms and lingonberry juice.

Dinner of fish dishes exclusively from the fish of the famous Ponoy River.

After dinner, do not forget to walk around the village, looking at the sky, so as not to miss the Northern Lights show.

9:00 breakfast, departure to the vast expanses of the North – to the lakes, to ice fishing, where, in addition to fishing, there will be an opportunity to independently install a kuvax made of pine poles, make a fire, melt a samovar with coals and dine according to the tradition of local fishermen with their stories, tales.

Upon return, there will be a sauna and evening traditional pancake gatherings.

On this day, we will have a tour of the village, visit the School of Orthodoxy and the Orthodox Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov under construction.

After a winter walk, we will have a peasant lunch and free time for afternoon rest.

At 17:00 we are invited to visit the "Evening Dawn" participants of the Komi folklore collective "Dig Kya" in the ethnocultural center and the exhibition "Krasnoshchelsk craftsmen", where you can buy local original souvenirs made of horn, bone, wool, soft toys and homemade pickles.

20:00 dinner of national cuisine.

At 08.30 breakfast, packing, the legendary tying of ribbons and departure back to the village of Lovozero.

Those who wish can visit the museum of local lore and a specialty store where you can buy smoked venison.

Return to Murmansk approximately at 20:00.

If the northern lights flash on the way, then stop for a photo shoot.

Weather conditions must be taken into account when buying return tickets. The weather during the New Year holidays is usually clear and frosty. But this is the north. If the wind blows, the travel time will increase. Therefore, we recommend that you return to Murmansk on the last day, spend the night and fly the next morning.
