Here Danila the master descended into the underground kingdom to carve a stone flower for the mistress of the Copper Mountain, here they still tell about enchanted cities and ancient Permian gods.

An amazing Stone City is located here. The region is rich in ancient mansions, churches, ethnographic museums and beautiful nature.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Sightseeing tour of Perm, Meshkov House
Arrival in Perm.
Meeting at the airport at 5:00 a.m.
We will meet you at the Perm II railway station at 05:30 in the morning.
Group transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation at the hotel.
Sightseeing tour of Perm.
During the tour, we will see the historical center, the Opera House, city monuments and the Kama River.
Lunch.
Excursion to the Meshkov House (the main building of the Perm Museum of Local Lore).
Free time.

Day 2 - Belogorsky St. Nicholas Monastery. Kungur Ice Cave
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the Belogorsky St. Nicholas Missionary Monastery.
Guided tour of the monastery.
The temple is located on the top of the White Mountain, whose height is 453 meters above sea level.
Free time to visit the holy spring and font.
Transfer to Kungur.
Lunch.
City tour.
Many ancient merchant mansions, churches and other interesting architectural monuments of the past centuries have been preserved in Kungur.
Excursion to the Kungur ice cave.
Kungur Cave is one of the largest and longest gypsum caves in Russia.
The uniqueness of the cave is not that it is icy.
First of all, its volumes are unusual in the Kungur cave – huge grottoes of 100 meters or more in diameter and 10-15 meters in height.
The crystalline forms of ice found in the cave are as diverse and impressive in size as possible.
Return to Perm.

Day 3 - Stone City
Breakfast at the hotel.
Early check-out.
Transfer to the Stone Town.
A tour of the park.
In the spirit of Ural legends, it is customary to tell that the Stone City used to be real, but once a sorcerer turned it into stone – with all the streets, houses and inhabitants.
It is not difficult to believe in this – the remnants of weathering of sandstones take such bizarre forms that some of them even received their own names: "Stone Gate", "Seal", "Idol", "Feathered Guardian", "Turtle".
We will travel through the streets, labyrinths and squares of the "enchanted" city, see the place "where the plague went underground", inspect the highest point of the city, where the source of power is located.
Lunch.
Return to Perm.

Day 4 - Khokhlovka Architectural and Ethnographic Museum
Breakfast at the hotel.
Room release.
Transfer to Khokhlovka.
Excursion to the Khokhlovka Architectural and Ethnographic Museum.
The Khokhlovka Museum is the first open–air museum of wooden architecture in the Urals.
Today, Khokhlovka unites 21 monuments of wooden architecture of the late XVII – second half of the XX centuries, which represent the best examples of traditional and religious architecture of the peoples of the Kama region.
Transfer to the village of Ilyinsky.
Excursion to the Ilyinsky Regional Museum of Local Lore (Stroganov estate).
The village of Ilyinskoye from 1771 until the revolution was the capital of the Perm possessions of the Stroganovs.
The museum is located in the building of the Main Board of the Perm undivided estate of the Counts Stroganov, built in 1805, and in 1995 the Exhibition Hall of the Ilyinsky Regional Museum of Local Lore was opened in the former house of the Chief Manager of the Perm estate.
The museum's collections contain significant material on Old Believers, peasant and merchant life.
There are unique exhibits in the collection: "The Bonecracker who shocked everyone", samples of Stroganov icon painting and wood painting in the technique of the "Royal Rose".
Lunch.
By 18:00 group transfer to the airport and the end of the program.
By 18:30 group transfer to Perm II railway station.

A wonderful tour with a rich and engaging itinerary. Our guide, Svetlana, was very responsible and did an excellent job, explaining everything in detail. I was pleased with both the hotels and the food. Adding extra lunches was a great decision; it made everything more convenient, and I especially enjoyed the Pomor-style lunch at the Pomor restaurant. The transportation was also comfortable and reliable.
