Itinerary

Day 1 - The history of S. Kaga and the Ural ironworks
10:00 Group meeting in Ufa at the central entrance of the Ufa Department Store (31 Oktyabrya Avenue).
Bus trip from the lowland part of Bashkiria through the highlands to the mountainous and forested areas of the Southern Urals to the ancient Russian village of Kaga (300 km).
Along the way, landscapes change from the Ural steppes to the majestic Ural Mountains. Part of the route passes through the territory of the South Ural State Nature Reserve. In good weather, you can enjoy a view of the highest peak of the Southern Urals, Bolshoy Yaman–Tau.
Lunch. Accommodation at the campsite.
Acquaintance with the history of the area and an inspection of the architectural monument – St. Nicholas Church.
The tour "The history of the village of Kaga and the Ural ironworks".
"Dumpling making": the evening will be held in a friendly family atmosphere for leisurely conversations and dumpling making from high-quality village products.
"Over a cup of tea...": tasting Bashkir honey, herbal tea and balms of local production.

Day 2 - Shulgan-Tash Nature Reserve, a master class on playing the kurai
Breakfast.
Transfer to the Shulgan-Tash Nature Reserve (100 km).
Visit to the museum and demonstration complex of the Shulgan-Tash Nature Reserve.
The basis for the creation of the reserve was the habitation in this region of the core of a purebred aboriginal honeybee population – the Burzyansk honey bee ("burzyanki") in the conditions of bee farming – Bashkir folk art.
This reserve turned out to be the world's first zone protecting native wild bees.
Tourists will have the opportunity to taste on-board honey (for an additional fee per season).
Acquaintance with the natural and cultural heritage site included in the UNESCO World Heritage List: a unique monument of the Paleolithic era – the cave "Shulgan-Tash" (Kapova cave).
Thousands of years ago, primitive people lived in it and left their drawings of animals on the walls. Such ancient drawings, before their discovery in this cave, were known only in caves in Spain and France.
Regardless of the time of year, the cave maintains a constant temperature of +7 Celsius. Therefore, it is necessary to have warm clothes with you.
Lunch with elements of Bashkir cuisine.
A master class on playing the kurai.
Return to the campsite (100 km).
Supper.
Car travel per day is 200 km.

Day 3 - Lake Bannoe
Breakfast.
Walking distance to Mount Blagodat (~ 10 km, of which ~ 3 km on foot).
For an additional fee:
Excursion to the Bashkir State Nature Reserve (30 km from the village of Kaga, ~ 3 hours) – 1,500 rubles/person. for a group of 3 people or more. The acquaintance with the museum and excursion complex of the reserve will begin with the history and nature features of the reserve and the Southern Urals, and will end with a walk along the ecotrope to the observation tower. You will be able to watch them at the maral enclosure, learn interesting facts about them and take memorable photos.
Catamaran rafting (~4 hours, ~ 7 km) – 2,800 rubles/person. for a group of 4 people or more. Preparation for the route: transfer / walk to the place of the beginning of the rafting, safety briefing, equipping, gathering catamarans and "getting on the water"! Calm river flow, green shores and picturesque cliffs. During the rafting, it is planned to stop for rest and swimming. We finish the rafting at the Belsky Bridge. Departure from the route, transfer to the base.
Lunch.
Transfer to Lake Bannoe (140 km).
Check-in at the campsite.
Supper.

Day 4 - Bashkir Trans-Urals. Sibai City
Breakfast.
A walk to the Bannoe shopping center.
You will get acquainted with the features of the ski resort, by cable car in comfortable cabins (for an additional fee) you will climb to a height of 942 m, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley with many lakes (in good weather you can see up to 12 of them).
Those who wish can go to the beach of the deepest, purest lake in Bashkiria (Bannoe).
Lunch.
Bus transfer to Bashkir Trans-Urals (190 km).
On the way:
acquaintance with the first capital of Bashkiria (Bashkir ASSSR) – the village of Temyasovo, a visit to the Historical and Cultural Center "Temyasovo", where the ethnographic collection characterizing the ethnoculture of the Bashkir people is presented. Noteworthy are the numismatic collection, weapons from the Civil War, and objects from archaeological excavations.;
Lake Talkas. The water in the lake is sodium-magnesium-calcium. The southern and southeastern shores of the lake are flat, rocky with a sandy bottom. They are comfortable and comfortable for swimming. The wooded western slope of the Irendyk Range descends from the east to the lake.;
stop at the jasper exits – you can find and take away a souvenir – natural jasper from the depths of the Ural Mountains.

Day 5 - Arkaim Nature Reserve
Breakfast.
Transfer to the Arkaim State Historical and Cultural Reserve (85 km).
On the way we cross the Ural River, the water border between Europe and Asia.
In the reserve, tourists are offered various excursion programs, which tourists choose on the spot at their own request for an additional fee.
For some, Arkaim is a fortified settlement of the Middle Bronze Age at the turn of the III-II millennium BC, belonging to the "Land of Cities". Scientists believe that this is an ancient city, estimated to be about four thousand years old, i.e. the age of Arkaim is older than the age of the Egyptian pyramids.
For others, Arkaim is a natural place of power, located on the site of a natural tectonic fracture of the earth's crust, in the mouth of an extinct volcano millions of years ago.
Independent lunch on the territory of the Arkaim Nature Reserve.
Return to the European part of Russia, to the city of Sibai, which is unofficially the capital of the Bashkir Trans-Urals.
Independent dinner in Sibai city.
Car travel per day is 180 km.

Day 6 - Sibai Museum of Local History and stone-cutting workshop. Departure

Visit to a stone-cutting workshop: acquaintance with the works of stone-cutting masters, inspection of products made of jasper, granite, lapis lazuli and other ornamental stones.

The tourist center is located in the mountainous part of Bashkiria in the village of Kaga, Beloretsky district. The restored buildings of the 19th century (the former estate of the mining hospital) and modern residential buildings are organically combined on its territory.

The modular houses (level 3*, "standard") have stylish 2-bed rooms with private bathrooms. The rooms have a simple design, 1 double or 2 single beds, orthopedic mattresses and comfortable pillows, air conditioning, 2 towels, cups, a kettle, shelves for things and mirrors.

Heating, water and sewerage are centralized and work smoothly.

There is a separate building with a kitchen and a dining room with panoramic views of the Ural Mountains, equipped with baths, recreation areas and Parking space. A Wi-fi network is available. For information: Megafon and Beeline have a good cellular signal, MTS does not work stably, and Tele2 does not pick up.

It's important to know

The tour was excellently organized. We traveled in a comfortable bus with a professional and friendly driver. The accommodation and meals were also very good. I would especially like to highlight our guide, Elena. Her deep knowledge, outstanding understanding of the region, engaging and expressive storytelling, subtle sense of humor, and excellent communication skills make her a top-class professional. She managed to bring together a group of very different people and became our leader and the heart of the group throughout all 10 days. There was, however, one thing that slightly detracted from the overall impression: the indifferent attitude and reluctance to address guests’ concerns on the part of the administration of the Chaika campsite at the Nugush Reservoir.
