  • Day 1 - Arrival. Grandfather Philemon Harmony Museum, Samovar Museum

    Arrival.

    Independent accommodation in a hotel. You can leave your belongings in the luggage room, check-in after 14:00.

    11:45 Meeting at the samovar Museum (Mendeleevskaya, 8).

    Walking day.

    Samovar Museum, guided tour.

    You will learn the history of samovar making in Tula and get acquainted with outstanding craftsmen. 

    The exposition of the Tula Samovars museum presents all stages of the development of Tula samovar production from the end of the XVIII century to the present day, as well as the history of the samovar as an original example of Russian decorative and applied art.

    In the halls of the museum you can see samovars, diverse in shape, material of manufacture and size: from a 70-liter buffet to a samovar with three drops of water. 

    The museum's showcases also feature interesting and rare household items.

    Lunch.

    The Harmony Museum of Grandfather Philemon.

    A two-minute walk from the Tula Kremlin there is an ancient two-storey building where the harmonies live. 

    Their overflows spread far beyond the walls, so much so that you can hear the whole street: if you visit them, they will definitely reward you by giving you a piece of their soul.

    New Year's program.

    Accompanied by the colorful owner of the museum, "Grandfather Filimon" and his New Year's guests, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, you will learn a lot about the Russian accordion, as well as hear the virtuoso sound of various types of harmonies, bayans and accordions. 

    You will become participants of the concert yourself. Such a festive mini orchestra!
