Day 1 - Meeting in Moscow. Tver and Torzhok, moving to Vyshny Volochyok
The tour program for 2025 is preliminary. Changes are possible.
07:45 Gathering of the group in Moscow, Komsomolskaya metro station, Leningradsky railway station building, in the center of the waiting room on the ground floor, by the elevator (sign "Pearls of Northern Russia").
Departure to Tver– a city on the Volga, began its existence a very long time ago – in the XII century.
Due to its location on the river, it began to develop rapidly and by the XV century had turned into a large Russian settlement.
Excursion program: a sightseeing tour of the historical city center of the 18th century.
The Travel Palace of Empress Catherine, the monument to Athanasius Nikitin, the White Trinity Church.
Lunch.
Moving to Torzhok is a rare example of urban planning in pre–revolutionary Russia.
The city has preserved entire streets with buildings of the XVII—XIX centuries, monasteries.
There are old manors in the surrounding area.
Excursion program: architecture of Torzhok, visit to the museum of Gold embroidery.
Moving to Vyshny Volochyok.
Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2 - Vyshny Volochyok, Valdai and Veliky Novgorod
Breakfast.
Vyshny Volochyok – "Russian Venice", "Tver Venice".
The city, located on the outskirts of the Valdai upland, is famous for the system of canals connecting the Tsna and Tvertsa rivers.
With their help, a unique waterway was created between the Baltic and the Caspian Seas.
The excursion program: walking sightseeing tour of the city center.
Transfer to Valdai.
Valdai is located among the picturesque forests of the Valdai upland, surrounded by a national park.
The main attraction is the Iversky Monastery, located on the island of Lake Valdai.
It is one of three monasteries built by Patriarch Nikon to spread new church reforms.
Excursion program: city tour, Valdai Iversky Bogoroditsky Svyatoozersky Monastery, Bell Museum.
Transfer to Veliky Novgorod.
It is no coincidence that Veliky Novgorod is called the museum city of Ancient Russia.
No city in Russia has preserved so many beautiful monuments of architecture and monumental painting.
Lunch.
Excursion program: sightseeing tour of the city, the Novgorod Kremlin – a monument of military and defensive architecture of Russia of the XV-XVII centuries.
The Novgorod Detinets, as part of the historical center of Veliky Novgorod, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
St. Sophia Cathedral is one of the most outstanding monuments of ancient Russian architecture.
This is the oldest surviving ancient Russian temple in Russia.
Yaroslavovo dvorishche, Ilmen Lake, Yuriev Monastery, St. George's Cathedral.

Day 3 - Pskov
Breakfast.
Transfer to Pskov.
One of the oldest cities of Russia, the great and glorious Pskov, is located on the Velikaya River at its confluence with the Pskov River.
The official date of Pskov's foundation is considered to be 903 – the year of the first mention of the city in the Tale of Bygone Years.
However, archaeologists have proved that settlements on the Pskov settlement existed more than 2000 years ago.
Excursion program: a sightseeing tour of the historical city center, a visit to the Pskov Kremlin.
Trinity Cathedral of the 17th century, Dovmont city, monument to Alexander Nevsky.

Day 4 - Izborsk and Pechora
Breakfast.
Transfer to Izborsk.
Located 30 kilometers west of Pskov, a former city, and now a village, Izborsk is one of the oldest Russian settlements that have survived to our time.
Izborsk often found itself in a war zone and was destroyed.
In 1330, a reliable fortress was built, which made it possible to successfully resist enemy attacks.
Excursion program: Izborsk Fortress is an outstanding stone fortress built back in the XIV century, famous for the fact that it has never been captured during its existence.
The Small Rozhdestvensky Monastery, Truvorovo settlement.
Transfer to Pechory, a small town near Pskov, almost on the border with Estonia.
There are many legends and legends about this area, Russian sovereigns often visited here.
Excursion to the Pskov-Pechersk monastery.
Return to Pskov.

Day 5 - Pushkin Mountains. Return to Moscow
Breakfast.
Transfer to the Pushkin Mountains.
The history of the Holy Mountains (the settlement was renamed Pushkin Mountains in 1924) is inextricably linked with the appearance of the Svyatogorsky Monastery in these places in the XVI century.
The Mikhailovskoye State Pushkin Museum-Reserve was established here.
The Reserve includes: the Mikhailovskoye Estate Museum - the estate of the poet's mother; the Trigorskoye Estate Museum – the estate of the poet's friends; the Petrovskoye Estate Museum - the estate of the poet's great–grandfather; the Mill Museum in the village of Bugrovo with an operating watermill; the Pushkin Village Museum in the village of Bugrovo, where Russian grave of A.S. Pushkin and the necropolis of Hannibals-Pushkins in the Svyatogorsky Monastery, a portrait typical of Pushkin's time, has been revived.
There are more than seventy historical and cultural monuments on the territory of the Pushkin Reserve.
Excursion program: Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Monastery, the grave of the poet, the Mikhailovskoye estate Museum, a walk through the parks of the museum-reserve.
