Transfer to the Pushkin Mountains.

The history of the Holy Mountains (the village was renamed Pushkin Mountains in 1924) is inextricably linked with the appearance of the Svyatogorsk Monastery in these places in the 16th century. The Mikhailovskoye Pushkin State Museum-Reserve was established here.

One of the oldest cities in Russia, the great and glorious Pskov, is located on the Velikaya River at its confluence with the Pskov River. The official founding date of Pskov is considered to be the year 903, the year of the first mention of the city in the Chronicle of Bygone Years.

However, archaeologists have proved that settlements on the Pskov hillfort existed more than 2000 years ago. Pskov turned into a city from a fortified settlement during the reign of Princess Olga.

Transfer to Izborsk.

Located 30 kilometers west of Pskov, the former city and now village of Izborsk is one of the oldest Russian settlements that have survived to our time. During the vocation of the Varangians, he went to Truvor, Rurik's younger brother.

Moving to Torzhok is a rare example of urban planning in pre–revolutionary Russia. The city has preserved entire streets with buildings of the XVII—XIX centuries, monasteries. There are old manors in the surrounding area.
