You will visit an entire Udmurt village, where the locals will tell you about the traditions of hospitality, go on a theatrical tour of the Tchaikovsky Museum-estate and visit the Varangian Druzhina tourist complex.

World Dumpling Day will be held in Izhevsk on arrival days! All festive events will be organized in the Central Square in the immediate vicinity of the base hotel.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Dumpling trip to the Igrinsky district
11:40 a.m. (local time, please check the timetable of the 026 Italmas train Moscow — Izhevsk on the Russian Railways website).
Arrival of the train at Izhevsk railway station. Meeting of the tour participants on the platform of the railway station.
Those who arrive on the recommended flight from Moscow to Izhevsk are met at the airport and joined to the general group.
The meeting time is approximately 10:00-12:00.
12:00 Transfer to Cosmos Izhevsk 4* Hotel (former Park Inn). We leave our things in the hotel's luggage room. (check-in takes place after the excursion program in the evening).
12:10 Lunch at the hotel restaurant.
12:45 Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby.
13:00-19:00 Dumpling trip to the Igrinsky district (80 km) — the heart of the Homeland of dumplings.
In the program:
visit to the Kometa production site, where delicious Ignat brand products are produced. We will get acquainted with the bread production process from grain to the finished product, show you all the stages of production, tell you about the work of a baker, technologist, laboratory assistant and other specialists, show the production "from the inside", taste fresh products, and also take part in a master class.;
lunch at a cafe with tasting of 15 types of dumplings: with pink salmon, radish, pork, beef, chicken, cabbage, champignons, blueberries, cherries and more!
19:00 Transfer to Izhevsk to the hotel.
From 21:00 Return to Izhevsk. Free time.
Day 2 - The village of Bagrashbighra. Studio "Derem"
07:00-09:00 Buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

10:00 Transfer to Malopurginsky district (40 km)– the cradle of the southern Udmurts.
11:00 Bagrash-Bigra village, Daur Shykys Museum.
It is here in the heart of the Udmurt region itself, next to Izhevsk and Sarapul, that surprisingly generous and open-minded people live, ready to tell you about the traditions of hospitality. To visit an entire village? It's real.
We will find out what "vorshud", "sores" are and participate in the ceremony of receiving guests.
We will visit the new attraction of the region – Daur Shykys (The Chest of Time) — this is what the locals call the beautiful house, which contains the Bagrashbighra Family Museum, a model of an operating mill, the Tourist Information Center of the Malopurginsky district and a whole bunch of legends, legends and delicious stories.

Acquaintance with Tatiana Nikitichna Moskvina, restorer and fashion designer, founder of the Udmurt dress studio "Derem". She will dress you up in all the centuries-old clothes that have preserved the beauty of our great-grandmothers, and tell you what the stories of folk dress are, as well as what energy-saving clothes are.
16:00 Transfer to Izhevsk.
From 17:00 Return to Izhevsk to the hotel.

In your free time, you can visit the ethnogastronomical festival "World Dumpling Day 2026", which will be held in the Central Square of the city from January 02 to January 09, 2026.

Day 3 - Varangian Squad, a walk through Votkinsk, P.I. Tchaikovsky Museum-Estate

09:00 Departure from the hotel and transfer to Votkinsk (60 km from Izhevsk).
A trip to the Homeland of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky will be remembered not only by family recipes, traditions of the Tchaikovsky family, but also by new interesting acquaintances.
10:00 a.m. The Varyazhskaya Druzhina Tourist Complex and its owners, Nikolai and Olga Sergeev, welcome guests, introduce them to the complex, treat them to tortillas according to an old family recipe, share the secrets of a large family with four children and plans for the annual Rus Druzhinnaya Historical Reconstruction Festival.
12:00 Theatrical tour of the Tchaikovsky Museum-estate "Sweet Memories".
With the owner of the estate, Alexandra Andreevna Tchaikovsky, we will walk through the rooms of the master's house, adopt the basics of 19th-century etiquette, and get acquainted with the customs of hospitality in the Tchaikovsky family.
14:00 Lunch at a cafe overlooking the Votkinsky pond.
Walk along the embankment of Votkinsky pond, which became the prototype of the famous Swan Lake. A keepsake photo in Vysotsky Square.
15:30 Transfer to Izhevsk (60 km).
16:30 Transfer to the railway station, Izhevsk airport.
