Day 1 - Getting to know Izhevsk. Ludorvay Museum-Reserve, a treat with Udmurt dishes and a master class on jewelry making

Walking and bus sightseeing tour of the city of Izhevsk.
Izhevsk is the capital of the Udmurt Republic, the twentieth most populous city in the Russian Federation, a large industrial, commercial, scientific, educational and cultural center of the Volga region and the Urals.
It is known as the armory capital, the city with the largest artificial reservoir in Europe.
During the tour, there is a story about the history of the emergence and development of the city from the 18th century to the present, how the city grew from a small village into the capital of the republic.
Visit to the beautiful Makhailo-Arkhangelsk Cathedral.
The main objects are a dam and an artificial lake – Izhevsk Pond, Armourers Square, etc.
Excursion to the ethnographic Museum-reserve under the open sky "Ludorvay".
This is one of the most striking and interesting places associated with pagan culture, national architecture and Udmurt customs.
The program includes a walk along a village street, a visit to a peasant estate, which presents a complex of unique buildings: a manor, a cage – a summer hut, a two–story barn, a barn, a Kuala family pagan sanctuary, a black bathhouse, a windmill.

Return to Izhevsk.
A visit to the souvenir shop, where the products of Udmurt craftsmen are presented.

Acquaintance with musical instruments such as shulan, chipson, kubyz, etc., a story about their device, manufacturing features, and their existence in traditional peasant culture.

Guests can visit the Kalashnikov Museum on their own.
The tour introduces the life and inventions of the great military designer of small arms M.T. Kalashnikov.

Day 2 - Completion of the program. Izhevsk Motorcycles exhibition, transfer to Votkinsk, city tour

Excursion to the Izhevsk Motorcycles exhibition
The Izhevsk Motorcycles exhibition presents serial models of Izh motorcycles from the 1930s to the 2000s from the funds of the museum and personal collections of motorcyclists of the Izh Izhevsk community.
The exhibition is not just a demonstration of a collection of motorcycles, it also gives an idea of life around motorcycles in different historical eras.
For the first time, a new development of the Kalashnikov Concern, the IZH motorcycle of the new generation, was publicly presented at the exhibition in Izhevsk.
Transfer along the route Izhevsk – Votkinsk (60 km) with travel information.
Visit to the memorial and architectural complex "P.I. Tchaikovsky Museum-Estate".
The classic 19th century Russian manor tells its visitors about the life of the Tchaikovsky family in Votkinsk.
Lunch at a cafe in the city.
Sightseeing tour of the city of Votkinsk with a tour of the main attractions.
Votkinsk was founded in 1757 as a settlement during the construction of the Votkinsk Ironworks.
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was born here and spent the first 8 years of his life.
The composer created a number of his works, experiencing his childhood impressions of the beauty and purity of nature of his native land.
During the tour, you will get acquainted with the history of the city, tell about the contribution of Tchaikovsky's father to the development of the city, inspect historical buildings, including the church where the future composer was baptized, walk along the embankment along the picturesque lake, which became the prototype of the "Swan Lake" in the ballet of the same name.
