  • Day 1 - First date: the city of Izhevsk and the Ludorvay Museum-Reserve

    11:50 (approximate time) – arrival of tourists in Izhevsk.

    The first impressions are waiting for you in the very first minutes: a national treat – hot cakes, like the first kiss – for each participant of the tour and traditional Udmurt songs and dances performed by the exemplary Chebelyai collective.

    Those who arrive on the recommended flight from Moscow to Izhevsk are met at the airport and joined to the program.

    12:30 Lunch with a Udmurt accent at the Concept restaurant.

    Lunch menu: Udmurt salad with golden egg, Mozhginsky veal, kozhypog (cheese and chickpea balls), herbal tea "Udmurt collection".

    13:30 Sightseeing tour of Izhevsk– the capital of Udmurtia.

    It was here that the famous gunsmith Mikhail Kalashnikov lived and worked for 64 years (he created the legendary AK-47), here is the largest man–made reservoir in Europe and one of the largest and most beautiful temples in the Volga region - St. Michael the Archangel Cathedral, which locals call "gingerbread" for its peculiar architectural elements.

    And from the esplanade of the Central Square, there is a stunning view of the endless expanses of water and sky stretching into the horizon.

    15:00 Gastronomic excursion to Ludorvay, a picturesque architectural and ethnographic open–air museum reserve 4 km from Izhevsk.

    Here, surrounded by wooden farmsteads and a 110-year-old windmill standing in a large clearing, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the authentic culture and way of life of the Udmurt people of the 19th and 20th centuries.
