Departure to Torzhok.
Sightseeing tour of Torzhok– an ancient city founded by Novgorod merchants at the turn of the 10th-11th centuries.
Its streets still preserve the spirit of pre-revolutionary Russia of the 19th century. The main reason for coming here is the special flavor of the Old Russian provincial town, which Torzhok has preserved through the centuries.
Sightseeing of important attractions. Borisoglebsky Monastery, founded in 1038, is called one of the most ancient, created earlier by the famous Kiev Pechersk Lavra.
Monument to Ephraim of Novotorzhsky, the patron saint of the city and the founder of the Borisoglebsky monastery.
The Transfiguration Cathedral, the temple is "jokingly" called the "piece of St. Isaac." The main architectural dominant of Torzhok, welcoming with its splendor all who come to the city.
The shopping area and the embankment of the Tvertsy River are the main tourist points of Torzhok. The embankment offers a magnificent view of the Borisoglebsky Monastery.

Excursion to the Tver Imperial Palace (Tver Art Gallery).
During the tour, you will get acquainted with the history of the Tver Imperial Palace, the most striking landmark in Tver, learn about those who visited and lived in the imperial residence, and visit the state halls with restored interiors of the 60s of the XIX century.

Next, you can choose one of the program options that suits you.
Option 1. Free time at the local Tverskoy Arbat – Trekhsvyatskaya Street. Here you can meet street artists and musicians, many cafes and souvenir shops surrounded by low-rise mansions of the XIX-XX centuries. Take a walk through the beautiful streets, look into cozy cafes, arrange your own photo shoot.
Option 2. Excursion to the existing production facility – Afanasy brewery (optional, payment upon purchase of the tour).
During the tour, you can see with your own eyes how real live beer is brewed, which has become a symbol of the Tver land. Visit the brewhouse, the water filtration department, the bottling line, and the malt production plant.
The tour will end with a tasting, which is a great opportunity to taste beer and other Afanasy Holding products.
