On this site, the area through which the Hopper flows is hilly and picturesque. The right bank is usually high, the left bank is low-lying. The bottom of the river is sandy, the current is fast.

Day 1 - Arrival in Makashevka, the beginning of the rafting

It's important to know

shoes for staying in a kayak (rubber slippers or boots);
raincoat;
sunscreen, baseball cap or panama hat;
a fleece/wool sweater or sweatshirt, jeans or trousers (it's much cooler in the evening);
comfortable shoes – sneakers or boots;
mosquito spray;
gloves (neoprene, cycling or construction);
lantern;
individual set of dishes – mug, spoon, bowl, knife.
