Lena pillars. 2-day tour through Bulgunnyakhtakh

Combined tour — by car and boat. Overnight at a campsite in Batamai village. 

We explore the natural monuments and sights of the Lena River without any haste. On the first evening, we admire the sunset and fish.

The tour is held for individual and combined groups from 1 to 5 people in the period from June 1 to September 30.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Toyon-Ary Waterfalls, Ulakhaan-Ana petroglyph, Lena Pillars National Park

    08:00 Departure from the hotel in Yakutsk.

    At the exit from the city, there is a stop at a grocery store for the purchase of food and drinks.

    08:30-10:30 Transfer to the village of Bulgunnyakhtakh by car, 111 km, along an asphalt and partially paved road.

    11:00 Transfer to the boat.

    The beginning of a river walk along the Lena River to the Lena pillars.

    The distance, including arrivals, is 90 km.

    Stop at Toyon-Ary waterfalls, Ulakhaan-Ana petroglyph.

    Inspection of grottoes and petroglyphs of the Elan rocks, the first ridge of outliers (pillars) on the west bank of the river after the village of Elanka.

    Check-in to the Keteme taiga river with stone banks (possible on high water, usually in June) to explore the cave.

    Arrival at the Lena Pillars National Park by ±13:30.

    Free time on the territory of the Lena Pillars Park with an ascent to the observation deck along a 2-km equipped trail with intermediate zones for short-term rest.

    Lunch time (not included in the price).

    Transfer to the campsite in Batamai village, 3 km. It is located opposite the Lena pillars.

    Accommodation in guest houses (2 people each).

    Vacation on a sandy island (if available). With elements of fishing.

    Evening drive along the Lena pillars at sunset.

    Time for dinner (not included in the price).

    Rest.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  • Windproof jackets, warm sweaters/sweaters/blankets (for staying on the river);
  • Trousers are closed (for staying on the river and climbing to the observation deck of the Lena Pillars Park);
  • Shoes with hard soles (the shore in the park is rocky);
  • Anti–masking ointments, masks (for going out into the forest, climbing to the observation deck of the park - relevant in June and July);
  • A SIM card from the MTS operator for calls and Internet access (EDGE/3G) from the park.
