Itinerary

Day 1 - Transfer to the Aldan river
06:00 Pick-up and departure from the stop "Academic Russian Drama Theater", Lenin Avenue, 21.
The route runs along the famous Kolyma highway.
There are two ferry crossings across the Lena River (15 km) and Aldan River (1.5 km) on the way.
At first, the road passes through the taiga. After 50 kilometers, alaasi appear – these are fields in depressions. The Alaas were formed as a result of the melting of permafrost.

On the edges of the alas, you can see many bumps formed by the process of melting permafrost.

After crossing the Aldan River, camp for the night on the banks of the Aldan River channel.

Fishing enthusiasts have the opportunity to catch perch and pike on spinning.

Dinner (cooking dishes starting from this time by the tourists themselves through the "instructor is always there" duty).

Overnight in tents.

Day 2 - Transfer to Khoroto Lake (on the Uluu map)
Continuation of traffic along the Kolyma highway.
A road begins from the village of Khandygi, which was built by GULAG prisoners in the 40s of the XX century. During these years, camps were located along the road every 20-30 km, which were subsequently liquidated after Stalin's death.
The route passes through the Tomporuksky ranges, Rocky Mountains and Suntar Khayata, winding among the high mountains. On the way, stops in picturesque places for photography.

Day 3 - Transfer by all-terrain vehicle to Lake Sisindya
The route runs along the Tiryakh Yuryakh river.

There are several river obstacles to wade through on the way.

In the middle of the route, you will see the Snowy ice.

Sisindya is a lake with beautiful views. The lake is rich in char: Malmo and Arctic char.

If catching malma is not difficult, then the Arctic char is a difficult fish to catch and requires great skill from the fisherman.

In the evening, you can watch a beautiful sunset here.

Day 4 - Transfer to the Altai Chukkui reindeer breeding base
This site is rich in views of high mountains with snow-white peaks.
On the basis of Altachukkui there are residential buildings, a felled bathhouse.
In the old days, this area, rich in grass, was a favorite parking spot. After crossing mountain ranges devoid of vegetation suitable for horse food, the meadows of Alta Chukkui were a welcome place for travelers to recuperate.
Here you can see notches with writing on trees left by travelers.
Alta Chukkui is the main base for reindeer herding brigades roaming the area.
Reindeer herders live on the base all the time, but it happens that sometimes some houses are empty and the owners allow us to settle in them. When fully settled, you will spend the night in your tents.
The length of the all-terrain vehicle route is 45 km.
Day 5 - Hiking to the waterfall of the Malli river (Naledny river)
The route passes through the valley of the Koltako River and further along the gorge of the Malli River. Malli Waterfall is a powerful waterfall with a height of 28 meters.
It's hard to believe, but this area was previously the bottom of the sea and here you can find the remains of an ancient living world.
When the water level on the Koltako River is low, the route follows the riverbed. When the water level on the river is high, the route follows a trail located on the mountainside.
Climbing along the Mallee along the river with frequent fording (wading boots are mandatory!).
After visiting the waterfall, climb to the next step of the gorge and visit the ice.
The walking route is 17 km long.

Day 6 - Transfer to the mouth of the river.Munil (R.Neidagychan)
On this day, in the morning, you will have to cross the Suntar River, get to the next reindeer herders' base.

After lunch, rest, fishing on the Suntar river.
Here at the bottom of the base, a large black grayling catches perfectly.

Day 7 - Hiking to the waterfalls of the Munil river
The sources of the Munil River lie on the glaciers of Suntar Khayat at an altitude of about three thousand meters.
In a relatively short distance, the river loses a height of about two thousand meters, in some places falling from steep cliffs with a height of several tens of meters.
Approaching the valley of the Suntar River, Munil passes through a narrow rocky gorge, where it forms a cascade of waterfalls, and of them the most powerful and highest is the lower waterfall, which is accessible to the public.
Next to the waterfall is solonets, a favorite place of mountain sheep-chubuku.
The length of the walking route is 12 km.
Day 8 - Climbing Mount Munil
On this day, you will climb Mount Munil with a height of 1878 meters, from where you can see the glaciers of the Suntar Khayata range and the highest mountains of this range.

Munil is translated from Even as a mountain that can be seen from afar.

The climb up the mountain is not difficult.

If you are lucky, you will be able to see snow sheep-chubuka.

The walking route is 11 km long.

Day 9 - Transfer to the Ugammyt river

Day 10 - Transfer to Lake Sisindia
Today is a short trip and there will be more time to visit Lake Sisindya, admire its beauty and go fishing.

Day 11 - Lake Khoroto
The length of the route is 39 km.
Day 12 - Transfer to Yakutsk
Departure from Khoroto early in the morning.

On this day, the group will cross the Aldan and Lena rivers.

Arrival in Yakutsk late in the evening.
